Lol, I will be filming an update video soon. Everything has changed! 😂

Thank you for allowing us inside your home. We lived on RAFB in the 60's and I fell in love with the base and its Spanish Colonial Revival architecture. Back in those days the AF took care of the base, landscape included. Of course we were at war (Vietnam) and the place was busy and full of active service people. When the maintenance got outsourced outside the AF everything went bad. The houses are unique, incredible, and all different surrounded by majestic oaks. It is a captivating and romantic base still called "The Showplace of the USAF". Unfortunately these gorgeous homes have been remodeled over the years. I can see the one window between Trinity's bathroom and the sunroom that is original. Those multi-paned crank opening windows were painted black and were throughout all the homes inside and out. They are still on many of the buildings on base but they all need to be repainted black. They never should have changed them out as it totally changed the style/ history of the homes. It makes me sick. I'm grateful they haven't changed the tile roofs to shingles or metal roofs. They did that recently to the elementary school and that was a huge mistake. The fireplaces were functional and had black accents and I can remember beautiful tile around them. Everyone and anyone who has ever lived on Randolph says it was the best assignment and they loved living there. Follow the FB group, "I've Lived on Randolph AFB". After living there for 3 years we realized that a lot of the homes have been neglected. We did not have a function fireplace 🥹 I agree that they need to paint the windows back black. It would look so much better. Again, thank you for watching~Blessings

Love your house! With the toy you could rotate them so store half and keep them rotated so she never gets bored

Hi, April! I saw your comment on, Sean's aka ThinkMedia, community tab and had to stop by your channel. You said, you are using your iPhone until you get your new big girl camera (not in those exact words-lol). Your video looks really good and I'm impressed with quality of the camera. For me, the curtains is a yes and no, because, it's a neutral color and they don't look good or bad, but I believe some curtains with a pop of color would look better; nothing bright and distracting. Your home is beautiful. 😃

Yeah I was about to say looks like they used it as a makeup area. And yes some peel and stick tiles would be nice. A standing tissue holder is my favorite, I'd remove that one

Yes I think we are going to go with the peel and stick. Oh and we are definitely removing the tissue holder.

Perhaps one of those fake fireplaces in front of it that still gives out the heat and looks like a fire with a decorative runner type rug underneath instead of having to worry about peel and stick stuff? For the built ins, decorative flameless candles in various colors or in a candle holder in a color scheme or pattern that gives a pop of color to the area? Perhaps some old hardcover classic novels stacked in a cozy, half-hazard manner?

Yes, it is a small pantry. We just store appliances/mops/brooms/dog food in it because the shelving is not low enough. Thank you for watching 🥰

Hi Angela, we bought the flooring at Home Depot in the rug department.

Loved the video and what you did with the place! My husband just got Randolph as his next assignment. This video was super helpful since we are thinking we might end up with this same house floor plan. Do you know if LT's are in these houses as well? Couldn't find anything on the housing website for officers less than O-3
