Huh. One of the things I love about Furnace is that it is so straightforward and streamlined with its core mechanisms and what you can do in the four rounds you have. Some of the modules look like they just cram more into the game which might pull focus from what drew me to Furnace initially. I'll definitely have to look at this more especially since the solo mode module looks interesting.

Good to clear idea about this expansion. Seems worthwhile.

Any thoughts on the five-player game? Does it add significantly to the length? Any new rules? Do you have to use new (more complex?) cards to play with five?

Can you mix and match the modules with the solo game? Can you play solo with only base game stuff? Do you need to (or is it even possible to) use the expansion content in the solo?

Any comments about game storage? Can trays from the expansion and base game fit in the base game box? Or does it seem like you'd need to keep both boxes?

Mike is already writing some new lists. You know he hated making this video knowing this was coming

Do you think Furnace with the expansion is worth it only for solo?

As usual, excellent review, however, I need to point out that because of all the tabs I have open on my browser, I kept thinking this video is titled something that starts with "Furry", and now I want this expansion to be retitled "Furry Interbellum"

Thanks for the review. The modules really don’t seem like something I’d enjoy. I don’t know if it’s worth getting for just the new player powers and cards.

At least here in Germany, this game seems a wee bit overpriced. For 5€ more you can get Dune Imperium.
