Just one question. Does Brad EVER smile? Maybe he’s camera shy?
How scary but Brad to the rescue. Brad is a genius!! I'm glad you trusted your gut and stopped by. Those babies needed comfort and support. 💞
Not all heros wear capes. Go Brad 🎉
A handy man is very handy to have. Good job, Mr Flower Hill Farm.
Brad to the rescue ! Thank you Brad ! Whatever Brad wants make sure Brad gets !!!! ❤❤❤
Yeah to husband’s who can fix anything!! Thank you Brad you’re a keeper well so is Nichole❤️
I can't even begin to imagine the stress you've been having, but I'm confident your fans and customers are going to come through for you once you're able to open your doors.
omg what would we do without brad! You guys are an incredible team
I'd set up a bedroom in the house just for nights like this.
I'm grateful you came that evening!!
We did the exact same thing that you did only 38 years ago. Bought a run down greenhouse/nursery in Minnesota. My husband quickly learned to be the fix-it man for everything! We had super old oil furnaces. Nursery started in 1906 & they heated it with coal back then.
Brad to the rescue!! Great work hubby!! Y'all make a great team!!
Grandpa must have wanted you to just sing the coleus song some more to replace the ones that didn’t make the furnace failure! Way to go Brad!
Yayyy good save! Whew, thank goodness you stopped in there when you did and Brad got right over there!! You truly are the most kind and lovable person! It makes me so happy to see how many wonderful people you have in your life to support you no matter what the need may be. Everyone needs a good supporting cast 🥰❤️
How fragile what we grow is. It takes months to grow, and it all can be lost with one freeze, forgetting to water once or getting too hot. Mine is all for personal use and sharing with friends. I can not imagine the amount of stress this causes! Thank the Lord, not much was lost!!
You are blessed. So happy it is all resolved. New businesses is tough. Hang in there. 💕
Way to go Brad :) over here in NC and was scared to death for your plants. lol. Glad he saved the day
Thank God for your husband!!! What a guy!!! Hopefully all will good for the rest of the season!!! Happy Easter!!!
Happy Easter week-end dear Nicole 😃 You were well inspired to check the greenhouse upon your return from New Hampshire as leaving it until the morning might have resulted in a disaster as far as the Coleus are concerned. Thanks God that Brad is such a handy man and I can just imagine the stress you went through. You both most definitely deserve some extra chocolate cookies this Sunday 🍫! Lots of love from London UK 💚
You might need a guest room in the nursery for the future..lol
Good you listened to your intuition and stopped by the greenhouses on your way home, Nicole. Thank you, Grandpa. 💕🙏
Yay everything is hardened off!!! Good to go!!!
Whoa... SC here. Our high on Saturday was like 75 and today, Sunday, close to 85. Would gladly share some of that with you if I could. That's too warm for end of March. Can't believe you got snow and freezing temperatures.
So glad only a few losses. Good thing you decided to go check on the watering...could've been alot worse. I think Brad is a keeper!! Just think of all this stuff you're learning along the way...sometimes the hard way. I wouldn't have been able to sleep either. Always something! Hang in there guys!! You're really doing a great job!
I’m really surprised that you didn’t lose more coleus. I have found that they really can’t handle temps under 40 degrees. Don’t ever get rid of that handsome husband of yours.
YAYYYYYYYYYYY BRAD TO THE RESCUE !!!!!!!!!!
Oh my!!you need to watch this video and you can see three orbs floating..hmm who can it be!!
I doubt I could sleep. I'd be camping out with all the little babies. I've seen videos on heating small backyard greenhouses with terracotta pots and a big can of Crisco. I have never tried it, so I have no idea if it would give off any heat at all. Now I want to try it.
A Trent Reznor heater? Who knew?! 😂😂😂
Aww sad when these things happen 😢 Come on warm spring weather, we need you! ☀️ Hello from the still cold west! ☺️☺️
Omh...so glad u just stopped by to check on them! That would of been awful to arrive the next morning to everything dead.
There is no way you came to NH to pick up awesome doors without it being at my BFFS place Nor East.
Don't worry we'll be up from Schenectady, Planning to spend lots. So happy you checked.

Brad Pitt! Wow you’re amazing, love your videos. I never comment cause I watch them on my tv while doing laundry… but just wanted to comment and tell you I appreciate you and love your content!! More seed starting too pls 🤩
Plants were cheering when they see u walk in. Our savior is here they shout
I hope you had a good cry to release the stress❤
Brad is literally our hero 😍
Way to go Brad! 🎉
Surprised to see how much snow you have. Ours has all melted unusually early.
Oh no Nicole. A sudden emergency. Coleus cannot stand 38 f . I think they need at least 45f
Glad it turned out ok!
Thanks Brad!!
Oh thank gawd for Brad and his brain!!! Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Please let him know how much we ALL appreciate him and his efforts. 💕💕💕💕💕💕
Hi Nicole so sorry you had some coleus died, you can just clip the good plant about half way and stick it in the pot it roots very easily
I wish I could send you some warm weather
Brad is at hero status at this point. What a good dude
It's such a blessing to follow your dreams and have a husband that makes them keep coming true. Glad you found it in time.
Omg i cant take this kind of stress mam!!!! Yikes. Why does stuff like this always happen when youre out of town.
Yay, Brad!!!
Good job Brad you are a #1 Handy man
Brad to the rescue! Love husband's!!! My hubs is helping me with large flower pots this weekend.
Oh honey you need a vacation and you’re not even open yet!!!! We are all in your corner 😘
The screen shot for this video looks like a scene from a horror movie (maybe it is??) :O
It IS a Happy Easter thanks to Brad fixing the furnace. God Bless him! Ten coleus wasn't horrible. When money starts coming in, I'm sure Brad will be paid back. What a wonderful supportive family you have. Happy planting!
Though retired now, I used to be a CPA and I’m always concerned about cash flow. Every business is cyclical, and this time of the year will always be a time of all expenses, little or no revenue. My fingers are crossed for you. Will revenue begin again in May? Hold on!!!!
Save the plugs!!!!
Congrats Nicole! Sorry you had so much trouble! Not a fun activity at all! Your loyalty to the plants is amazing!!
So. Much. Stress. So glad you caught it in time and had a resident genius in duty 😊
Do those temperature monitors send alerts to your phone when it gets too cold? Sounds like a good investment for the future
could you cover plants with frost cloth or the frost quilt?
My grandpa used to always eat those cookies. Hope there are no more problems.
Yay Brad! Our hero. ☺So glad there wasn't too much damage.
we had about the same thing happen on a smaller scale but we still lost about 85% of our peppers so about 1800 or so it sucks lol
Grab a couple rolls of tuck tape for those corners to stop drafts for now til you can do the rest of Reno’s.

Good advice. My first college apartment had old leaky windows and duct tape did the trick!
It sounds like Brad is just like my husband Ron was. He could fix anything, if not the traditional way then he would rig something up and it worked every time. Sadly, he passed away four and a half years ago. He not only fixed our stuff but also my girls things at their houses. My daughter made him a cup that he took to the VA hospital every time he went that said "Mr. Fix it". I am so glad that Brad got it fixed, and he had extra parts for the next time, if it needs to be fixed. Ron was just like that also. Just a couple of smart guys.
Wow, Nicole! Praise God, Brad knows how to fix things! Girl, so happy you dodged this one! Hallelujah! Happy Easter to you and your beautiful family! Christ is risen!❤ Blessings 🙏🏻❤
So glad you only had a few casualties!! Great to have a Great Handy Man!
Thank the good lord you didn’t go to bed and when to the greenhouse!! Just a thought, could you have put a frost cloth over the coleus . They can raise the temp slightly. Maybe between the portable heater and the cloth that could help slightly. Not sure-just a thought. Very scary situation
You're lucky to have a husband to the rescue Nicole❤❤❤
Oh my gosh!
Maybe have a reclina or sofa in the retail area for times like this. Then you don't need to run back and forth.
Wow that could have been disastrous. Lucky you checked; even luckier you have a handy hubby😀. Question. Would covering the plants with frost cloth have helped protect them?
Small businesses run on family and friends, without which.....life.
Thank God for your wonderful husband!!
What a stressful night! Brad is amazing! Fingers crossed… no more problems!
Brad is a hero!
Yay Brad! Great work! Glad you didn’t lose your plants💚💚💚
Well done Brad 😂
So scary and frustrating. I only grow in my house - where I live - and worry about the furnace going out. It did a couple of years ago and I ran electric heaters for 2 days. It was -20 C. (ON , Canada) I am so glad that you managed to keep the Greenhouse warm enough. So stressful!! Recently there was a local grower that ran out of propane during the night. Her tulips were fine, but all the Dahlia cuttings died. She said that was 2 months of work. She lost on wages that she paid her staff who did the cuttings, and then for the lost sales too.
Why not get frost cloth?? I am glad you got the heater working.
I was on the edge of my seat! Omg Nicole you and Brad Pitt are both geniuses. So happy all is well ❤. Hang in there.
There will be times when you will have to stay at your greenhouses all night. It’s tough but that is the price you pay to have your own business. It also helps to have a big hearted, genius for a husband. You’ll get through it but sacrifices are the norm.
Oh Nicole ... I'm so sorry!! Keep on going though. Business is like a turbulent ocean with waves that never stop. You'll get through it and probably next week, an entirely new set of issues will pop up to deal with. LOL You'll be just fine!
We had the same thing happen.. sure enough.. circuit board. took 2 weeks to get it in. Glad you got it working!
Yay Brad!
I’m so glad you discovered this😔😢Jesus bless Brad‼️
And i said “please jus show me how to do it”😂🤣such a character
Can you throw a bed in the house on the property?
Hooray for Brad.
Would frost cloth have helped the more cold sensitive plants?? May need to keep some on hand if they would help some.
Wow Nicole that could have been really bad. I have a husband that fixes everything too I try not to take it for granted. Good luck with the heaters.
Whew!
Brad👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Big points for Brad! Good thing you checked in on them Nicole. Running a business is a lot of work. But, now you have a plan. Hindsight and all that... Peace
Our moms heater kept shutting off like that and i5 was the drainage line had clogged. It had some ice build up in it. Ours did it one and we had moss or alge plugging it.
❤
This is as scary and stressful as raising kids. Of course, these are your babies. Disaster diverted . Brad to the rescue.
So glad you caught the problem before you had catastrophic losses. Can you get blue tooth monitors that have alarms?
If it the circuit board, you can simply go to local heating wholesaler. Pick up a replacement circuit board. For 150$ It takes 5 minutes to change
