Just saw it in a preview… It will blow you away like all MAD MAX-movies did before… George Miller is a genius, a legend and simply one of the best directors in the world. Praise him! WTF?! This grandpa kicks a**! Love it! 12 of 10 points!

I had seen this preview over 2 weeks ago at the cinema and now I’m glad to see it again on KZread.

Saw it in Bali Indonesia in a VIP section of Cinépolis Cinema. Loved it

Best movie of the year and best action sequence of all time! Desert action overwhelming Dune 1.2 is sucked into the sand with the sound of a heart-throbbing engine

If this is any indication, Dementus is going to be one of those villains who is too fun to watch be absolutely mental.

You will notice the genius of it. Like furiosa seeing praetorian jack in mad max (since they look so much alike), making her trust max more easily and opening up to another man in a long time.

Furiosa was written in the 80’s btw, sigourney weaver signed on in the 90’s but production fell apart. So anyone claiming this is woke Ripley is woke now I guess

@@CoffeeFiend1 He's not saying that, he's saying that they're showing so much important footage in a 5 minute span that you will be able to piece the entire film together when you go see it in theaters. It doesn't ruin the experience, but it definitely takes a lot of momentum out of it on the very first watch because you want SOME surprises. I'm glad I stumbled on this because I don't want to see the same thing.

I thought perhaps they’d get the actor playing Furiosa’s mother to do an American accent, to at least give some sort of explanation as to why Furiosa is the only person in the entire world she inhabits to have one (despite being played first by a South African, and now by an Argentinian Brit, making the inexplicable American accent just that little bit more absurd)

It makes sense that her accent would be muddled with time, which is why she talks that way in Fury Road. Look at Max for example, in Fury Road he’s essentially learning how to speak again after fighting the demons in his own mind for decades.

Charlize Theron and Anya Taylor Joy have American accents. Maybe Theron didn't do the South African accent because it would be too difficult to understand speaking at fast pace? But yeah having the mother speaking with a different accent is strange

And It makes absolutely no sense that she has an American accent when not only her mother, but all the other women in whose midst she spent her childhood, plus the people who later abducted her and raised her to adulthood, in fact pretty much every single human being she has ever heard in her life, has an Australian accent.

@@AW-zk5qb Anya Taylor Joy has a British accent. She’s affecting an American accent in this movie, presumably to match the accent Theron used in Fury Road. The American accent Theron acquired as a young adult trying to work in the US is now pretty much her default way of speaking English, at least publicly. She shows no trace of a South African accent anymore, even in interviews. So Furiosa, whether played by Theron or Taylor-Joy, pretty much just speaks in Charlize Theron’s normal voice. But it still makes absolutely no sense, in the fictional world of the films, that the character doesn’t have an Australian accent when she has spent her entire life exclusively surrounded by people who do. Had the actor playing her mother also had an American accent, that MIGHT have made some kind of sense, because perhaps Furiosa picked up the accent from her mother, who in turn was perhaps conceivably old enough to have moved from America to Australia before the fall of civilisation. But Furiosa was explicitly born and raised in post-apocalyptic Australia, so her accent remains an inexplicable anomaly.

He’s not Max. There are some visual parallels, but he is a praetorian in Joe’s armada, hence the war paint. It’s been confirmed that Jack & Furiosa will have a slow burn romance, which is in contrast to Max & Furiosa’s reluctant and definitely platonic relationship.

Chris Hemsworth 🤯 I didn't recognise him!

I still can’t figure out why Furiosa had a movie about her with no mad max/ Tom Hardy…i don’t understand why they took a gamble on the success of Furiosa to see if Wasteland will be made. From reports it says Hardy and Wasteland are on hold and most likely won’t be made. What a bunch of morons…they should have made it with Hardy and made another movie with Furiosa later on.

Because mad max is not a memorable hero, unlike everything else in this world. He supports and rides on the chaos. Other characters are rock stars in comparison. Furiosa’s story was already made by the time of fury road, it was a natural progression until this movie got delayed 10 years.

NYTimes said this movie will be a fail based on opening $'s. I guess I have to prove them wrong and go watch it. Oh its true, its true!

People have become so disdainful of CGI. They can’t tell the difference when it’s used properly and when it’s used improperly here it’s used properly. saw it last night in imax looked amazing, great movie
