If that helps : you can parry some of the green bullets that forms the circles and the grid. This way you have way more room to move.

3 years late but I read this comment and got scared Nailed last phase first try(3rd life tho), but not damageless, my tactic was getting to the checkerboard phase with only 1 hit taken(preferably none) then when I got hit stay down like a pussy until the game forces you up LOL. Only took two hits during checkerboard phase and finished him off.

The last phase on furier was such horseshit.

i'm not 100% sure what you're referring to, but if you're using the default controller scheme you should change it to the second one so you can shoot and parry/dodge at the same time

The last phase is just dev attempts to stop your progression, I would love to see them try this shit and pass We already know how horrible they play by their speed run numbers

you realize dev's (especially indie companies) playtest their games themselves. it asks alot of you but every boss has some intricacies that makes it easier. in scale's case, you can charge shot the ring, quickly dash to the bottom left and parry the second green line in his last phase, in part 2 you can parry all green lines coming out. after that its just knowing your dash range and having a good reaction time
