this video is actually what sparked my special interest and made me get my first furby in 2013! The Dalmatian one is so precious I think his glitchy voice gives him character!!

Your 1998 model is in a software glitch that is common among adult furbies, this can be fixed by putting your finger in their beak and shaking them upside down or by waking them up constantly until the firmwave resolves the issue itself, you have fixed your 1998 model after your 3rd attempt of awaking it

Hey thanks! We learned our lesson on that and now have a bunch in our collection. We even work on trying to fix them when we can.

It's not malfunctioning, it's just low batteries. I know cause my furby kept doing that, and when I changed the batteries it was fine. But I cant argue that the speaker is cracking.

I was that girl in one of shout-out videos who only said I love furbies. I still love and collect them. At least now I can fix them. Thanks for all your videos. Keep finding all this great stuff.

Prior to a video like this we test and install fresh batteries, so they both would have had full power to them. Not sure exactly... I like when they snore... :)

I loved to play with these for quite a while.

The spotted one has a problem called “me sleep again” you can hold down the tongue while holding waking them up so they wake up straight away.

Wake your Furby up and when he goes back to sleep hold down his tongue and turn him upside down (keep its tongue pressed). While still holding his tongue down, give it a bit of a shake and then turn it up the right way again. Let go of the tongue and wake as normal. Voila, Furby is now not so sleepy.

It could be. If you saw our battery storage, you would think we were crazy. But with all of the toy videos, we are always using batteries.

No on off switch - it might need some work. You can also try holding it upside down with your finger in its mouth. Look for our repair videos and read the comments on what people did to get them to work.

I have a 1998 or 1999 Furby, and everytime I want to talk to him, he/she falls asleep on me all the time, just like your 1998 Furby.

We don't remember, but we usually test and put new batteries before we video. She might have been camera shy... :)

We are currently not selling any of the Furby - We have plans for future videos.

They both remind me of my very first furby, I now have five altogether and are different colors.

The 2005 Furby have been hard to find. We find more of the first generation at sales.

No, not really in a structured sense - the older Furby were more hands on, need to be lifted and touched to do more things.

I got my king furby today can't wait to put in the batteries! : )

I would say 2005 has the best furby toy. These do not do much. And the new ones are noisy. 2005 has the perfect balance.

I have a Santa Furby & he's always tired even with fresh batteries. He's been that way since I first got him back in 1999.
