Funny You Should Ask: Passing Gas with Jon Lovitz

Funny You Should Ask is an outrageous new game show that believes every question always has a funny answer. In each half hour episode, six superstar comedians try to help two contestants win a big cash prize.
The celebrity is asked an interesting trivia based question and responds with a killer joke. After the laughter subsides, the comedian answers again, this time trying to respond correctly. The contestant must then decide if he thinks the comedian’s answer is right or wrong. After three laugh filled rounds, the contestant with the most money goes on to play the end game for a chance at the big cash prize. Every episode is jam-packed with more laughter than any of today’s hottest sitcoms.
Each show feels like event television with guest stars that include Howie Mandel, Jon Lovitz, Louie Anderson, Tiffany Haddish, Whitney Cummings, Vivica A Fox, Anthony Anderson, Tim Meadows, Billy Gardell, Cheryl Hines, Bobby Lee, Loni Love, Jamie Kennedy, Raven Symone, Caroline Rhea, Maz Jobrani, Russell Peters, Sherri Shepherd, Gabriel Iglesias, Cedric the Entertainer, Bill Bellamy, and many, many more. Yes and they only have pretty, younger people as contestants who can't answer historic and baby boomer generation questions.

It's almost as cheap as Leno's version of "You Bet Your Life". -Which may in small part explain why these 2 shows fight it out for the lowest rated game shows (sometimes joined by "25 Words or Less")

@@djtoona You're absolutely right! The common denominator on all these shows appears to be cheapness..Haha! The one with Jay Leno I have not even watched, but just by the looks of it...it just screams LOW Budget!...lol! And it's surprising, because looks like Jay Leno is the producer and he's LOADED! And speaking of cheapness, I thought it was extra funny you mentioned 25Wrds or less, because I actually used to watch that show (lol!), but it was a turn off when they went from 4 celebrities per show to only TWO!! I don't like to be hooked and then for someone to pull the OLD SWITCHEROO on me! 😝!

This show itself is DOA. -And I was a fan of the old Hollywood Squares (better host, better banter with contestants, better set (the 3-tiered tic tac toe wall), better celebrity answers (they may have also been purely scripted, but they were actually funny), the contestants got to choose which celebrity they wanted to answer (because of the tic tac toe component) and better celebrity interaction (a little daytime booze may have helped). And finally, there will never be another Paul Lynde.

This is an awful knock-off of Hollywood Squares. Shame on you. I would have probably had been more accepting if they revived the actual show. Get rid of the host, better still cancel the whole thing PLEASE!!!
