Why have they not used their dishwasher since last christmas? Do they have multiple dishwashers and for some reason don't use that specific one? Social media is a curse on society. It tunes people to what they want to know or hear and keeps them there. They have no ability to filter out bs because everything they see is what they want to see. If you can’t even see reality because everything you see is someone else’s perception of reality, you are just as much of a problem as the idiots you believe in. If you are nationalistic and are worried about migrants, the borders are not the problem. The problem is the country they are coming from. Helping and investing in that country will help stabilize it and the problem will diminish if there is some oversight. This is just a generalization and sometimes extreme solutions are needed but the main point is, the problem isn’t always “we need to focus on our problems,” and is more of “let’s help them to help us.” It’s like fixing water damaged walls by replacing and waterproofing inside the wall instead of fixing the leaking pipe that is causing the issue.
