    The "if you're a virgin at 30, you'll become a wizard" is a meme in America, too. But the quip about protecting your V-card was clever. Humorously enough, the clothes meme makes me think of job hunting, specifically the Permission Paradox. Basically, you need experience to get a job, but you need a job to get experience. It's probably not the intention behind the meme, but still an interesting connection.

    In the anime,Ishuzoku Reviewers,there was a lizardman that was saving his virginity,ironically enough,when he hit 30,he literally transformed into a wizard and several guys in the tavern congratulated him for his strong effort!
