Funny and Interesting Quantum Leap Goofs
Ойын-сауық
In this video go back in time to the first Quantum Leap television series with these funny and interesting goofs that made it to the final cut of the show.
Quantum Leap aired between 1989 and 1993 and focused on the adventures of the time traveling Sam Beckett played by Scott Bakula. Sam is aided by his friend Al, played by Dean Stockwell, appears to him in the past as a hologram.
While the series is always fun to watch and almost comes across near perfect on any given episode, there were a few interesting and sometimes funny goofs or what you might call tiny mistakes on occasion. A few times newer model cars from the 80s would pop up in the 60s, or the science of the show wouldn't always work quite right when Al cast a shadow or Sam's reflection didn't show the person he had leaped into.

Dean Stockwell’s body of work is absurdly amazing. What an accomplished actor. He’s subtleties truly make the roles he performed masterpieces. Legend. May he Rest in Peace.
Love it! Sharp eyes!🤣🤣🤣
I hope you all enjoy the video. Time travel is one of my favorite subjects so the original Quantum Leap has always been a favorite of mine with or without goofs.

New to your channel--love it!
I have seen every "original" Quantum Leap many, many times. Loved the series, but the new series just does not hold a candle to Sam and Al. Thanks for the memories @Tvcrazyman.

FUN FACTS:☑Donald P. Bellisario the creator of Quantum Leap met the real LEE HARVEY OSWALD when he was serving in the Marines as a Sgt. In the episode Lee Harvey Oswald. Bellisario had Matthew Charles Nelson played him as young Sgt. Bellisario as they reenacted him meeting Oswald. He made the episodes Lee Harvey Oswald part 1 and 2 to debunk the lies and myths perpetuated by Oliver Stone's movie JFK. Quantum Leap portrayal of Lee Harvey Oswald and the assassination of JFK is far more accurate then Oliver Stone's JFK movie.

It was one of my favorites. I forgot to mention another favorite episode of mine from the series where Sam goes home and the episode where he goes to Vietnam where his brother was at. Definitely a great series.
One of my favorite shows, bloopers and all!

Definitely an awesome show!
Thanks for uploading this
Agreed. My dad and I used to watch Quantum Leap together. Scott Bakula is a great actor and is not easy replaceable. He even did a great job as Captain Johnathan Archer in Enterprise. (Let's just not talk about the last episode of Enterprise......)

And Dean Stockwell had a guest appearance on Enterprise.
Yeah, one of my favorites too. I did own the dvds. I especially liked how he pointed to GOD as the One who was in control. Quite right. Thanks. I enjoyed this immensely

Now I have to go back and watch some of the episodes. I found the episode about the JFK assassination fascinating. I remember it came with a disclaimer about the actual events in 1963.
You forgot that tvs back when the show was new did not have the clear image that they do now. I notice a lot of errors and goofs from movies and show made back before flat panel and 4 k tvs
Yeah, OG QL was shot for broadcast in standard definition. The HD release of these episodes will show a lot of things we weren't meant to see.
6:27 and that lincoln they are driving is newer than 1960 as well.
These are great! There's a remake?!?! 😦😧😱😖😣
Please do WINGS as its my fave...
👍👍♥️
Sometimes military and police uniforms are altered intentionally.
No face shield either. How does the air hose work like this

@@tvcrazyman Also because NBC🦚premiered the two-part Lee Harvey Oswald episode as a 2 hour event the original broadcast contains dialog and scenes cut for syndication and possibly the DVD💽 release of the episode! Oh Boy!🤗🤔🙋🧑✈
Praise The Lord!!
Another weird inconsistency is that early on, Ziggy (the computer) is referred to with male pronouns, but when Sam leaps to his own time, the computer has a female voice and is henceforth referred to with female pronouns. Yeah, a computer can be reprogrammed, but why would anyone do this?
Loved the original not all that upset with the ending either Could it had been done better Sure I tried watching the total train wreck of the new one What a mess Nope not for me
Maybe it's because it was a crappy show with low production values.
