Yea I totally agree. I regret that in hindsight. I was actually thinking of doing it by memory but chickened out last minute. Unlike a best man speech, officiant speeches I feel like must be much more on point.

Ian, I saw your best man speech one year ago. Surely you must have found someone by now?

🤦🏿‍♀️Way too long and the officiant made it more about himself than the couple. Those are two "No No's".

I got so many this year too. Had one last week and got another one in Italy in 2 weeks. I guess I am lucky to have a lot of friends!

Kind of impersonal to have KZread wedding with unknown of the context in almost every way not even blessing as word from within a church in the speech. Global privacy concerns could be bad actors taking this the wrong way so praying for safety and security after listening to this although it was impossible for me not to smile a she was such a happy messenger of such a random thing.
