I’ve got a wrong number story: So this lady texted me by accident with her address and everything, and I told her it was the wrong number, she said thanks, didn’t think much of it. I don’t know why, but I didn’t delete the message from my phone, and so since May our chat has been on my phone. (Idk what I was going through, but I remember saying that it might be useful in case I decide to be a criminal out of nowhere) Fast forward to October. Our teacher asked us to do research for this devised theatre project, and I was asking people on their definition of family. As I was scrolling down the list of people I’ve texted recently, I saw the number, and I just texted them w/o much thought as to who it is. When their reply was “who is this?” I reread our conversation and realized who it was, so I apologized and asked them if they could to send a definition of family. The lady was so sweet, and sent a beautiful definition of family. Didn’t even question why this weird teenage girl was texting her after a mistake she made in May, or why that teenage girl still has her number in her phone. We need more people like that ❤️

I got a text from an auto repair business saying my car was ready to be picked up. I didn't reply, and they are probably still waiting for their car. My number is similar to a hospital imaging department number, and I was always getting calls with very specific patient info so I eventually changed my message to say "if you are calling the hospital, please use this number..." You'd think someone with a message saying "you've reached the number you dialed" wouldn't be a hospital, but I guess doctors aren't bright enough to notice that.

You not answering your friends calls “ If you are calling the hospital” Like my voice mail just says “If I didn’t answer the first time don’t call me again!” Then listed three people that would call me 20 times

This just makes me want to talk to random people😂

when i was in 2nd grade i was trying to call my friend and got the wrong number, and this old dude made me think he was her dad and i spent an hour talking to him about if charlotte (my friend) could be on the phone,until I realized that it was the wrong number and he was a random creep, and instead of telling my parents that i had GIVEN MY ADDRESS TO HIM THINKING I WAS SETTING UP A PLAYDATE WITH HER, i didn't tell my parents about it and ended the call and i could've been murdered because the dang phone got a MEMORIZED NUMBER wrong
