I love dachshunds. Mine died Monday afternoon though, so I am watching this right now to cheer me up.

I'm so sorry! When the time is right, I hope you are able to get another one. They really have such big personalities, they like to be drama queens and show off but if you're down they can definitely feel it and go over to you to cheer you up in a heartbeat! ❤️

My first dog was a sweet black dachshund! Her name was Mia! I was about 7 when I got her and although I am 62 now, I will never forget her! RIP Mia.❤❤❤

Mine died a few years ago. I still miss him!

My heart melted seeing the Great Dane grooming and hugging the dachshund! 🐾❤️🐾

I grew up with these lovable ornery little shits. They are only 12" tall but think they are 4' pitbulls at times. :) RIP Trina, Buddy and Luke

My dog growing up was a kong haired dachshund named Tony. He lived to be 16. This video is so adorable

My longhaired showed up, dumped, just after his puppyhood. I regret missing that experience with him. It's the only thing I regret about the little rascal. He's been with me just shy of 8 years. Sweet, funny, cuddly, smart. He's such a good boy!

They are the best, missing my best friend of almost 17 years.

My heart is about to explode from all of this cuteness I'm seeing right now.

Man I miss our doxie. Coolest little dog ever. If you've never had the pleasure, a bit hard to describe. They are too smart for their own good, attitude to spare, size 10 dog in a size 3 body. They rarely back down from anything. Stubborn as hell too. But man, are they snugglers!

I'm still not right yet lost mine last October. sometimes I can watch videos of doxies and some days if I did I'd cry all day . There. bond with whoever is strong and even though they ate stubborn (German) they make up for it with tons of love. I grew up with doxies and mine was so smart they all are. The 1 thing I'd do over if I could is I would have to get 2 ..they need a companion to pay with besides us. Any dog passes they are very exceptional to who ever comes to the family!.BEST if you can get them together what ever breed you want. 😀🖖🤣💜💙

My dachshund is the dumbest dog I have ever met and is very timid and easily scared. Not saying you're wrong though, I've had multiple dachshunds and they usually are exactly as you described.

4:20-4:30 is one of the most beautiful dogs I’ve ever seen. She (could be a he?) looks to be a real sweetheart.

These were great. That last one was just too cute.

I had mine for 24 years and she died in her sleep . She was very stubborn and an ALFA dog . I LOVED her so much and I"m missing her every moment of every day !

Dachshunds are just simply the BEST!! I've had dachshunds for over 30+ years, and they still have my heart! They make great pets for both with a family with kids, or a pet for someone single! They're just so cute!! And they're the type of dog that is adorable as a puppy (of course), and are still so cute as adults! ❤

This is what we all needed today

Very smart, brave, sweet doggies. We had 5 of them, every time together with a large dog and cats.

I have my daschunds for 12 years. They still do 3 mile walks each day and the vet says they are as healthy as horses.

Mine too...I perfectly understand what you need. My dachshund is 14 but he looks very younger, he swims so much, he walks with me and he is never bored. I think being bored and too much food kill dachshund soul

I lost two doxxies. One I had for 14 years and the other for 8. The older one died by accident of my father and the other was taken by a coyote right in front of me. I miss them every day, they were my sunlight. I have a yellow lab now, love him to pieces. But I still have a couple wiener dog shapped holes in my heart. I hope they're never filled because this pain means I loved them. Miss you Molly and Aldo, you were the best doggie duo I could ask for. You're always with me.

Seeing the doxie at 1:05 makes me think they really are hounds/hunds. The doxie owner drying the dog and then the great Dane rewetting him @ 1:09. He'll never get dry that way...Lol! Impressed with the hurtling doxie at 2:25. The spidey doxie with the creepy music was perfect. The baby and doxie at 6:40 is ❤❤❤❤❤! Doxies are one big mudflap and need both belly and back protection in the rain...

I got Buddy the cutest yellow rain slicker! Found out fast he needed belly protection a lot more than his back and head. All that pavement grime in the long, pretty fur. It may be sunny but if the pavement is damp at all it all ends up on his belly. And those mops on his feet, of course. That was a surprise for me!
