I think the levels might each have their own "themed" currency. A game rant article mentioned collecting Vinyl records to purchase an "amp" weapon in the Scott Pilgrim level.

Pretty sure it’s universally gonna be vinyl, cos that’s what pop figures are made of
This game for sure will give the feel of what a non-toys-to-life version of Lego Dimensions would be like! I discarded everything except a handful of gadgets and all the minifigures which I keep as mementos.
we hope specific characters have special abilities like mark being able to fly, doc brown having smart stuff if atom eve is added her being able to make stuff, like lets say a puzzle needs something like say a wrench to repair something, atom eve could make it

I'd like to see Marvel and Star Wars, but I'd think those would warrant their own games.

I would love to see Stranger Things,One Piece,Never Ending Story,Parks and Rec,and The Matrix in Funko Fusion!
Im really hoping we will be able to play as The Thing despite it being an enemy

How am I gonna access the hub world?
I genuinely hope there is split screen but from what I’ve seen it looks like they might not actually do that which sucks… then again all my friends I play games with are online friends… but it’s the principle of the thing.
