Although he doesn't care about TF2 that much), Gary Schwartz (the voice actor of Demoman and Heavy), Denis Bateman (the voice actor of Spy and Pyro) and Ellen McLain (the voice actress of The Administrator), they gonna achieve, what they want. Too bad Rick May (the voice actor of Soldier) bit the dust in 2020. I believe, he would help them as well.

I don't know why, but Scout's line after he hears Spy laugh hit really hard for some reason. "This isn't a game. We are screwed!" Shows that Scout is genuinely taking this seriously, and it reminds me that, for them, this isn't your run-of-the-mill battle. This is a genuine fight for survival against their own creator.

ever since i heard this cover i wanted to draw a giant battle scenario of all the mercs doing a team attack against an enraged Gabe with Sniper bot wings, i don't have the artistical skill for it but this comment only helped me imagine that even more

@@goblincrimes8524 I personally imagined it more to be an entire colosseum full of bots, cheering Gabe on as he fights the mercs one by one, with the other eight defending themselves from other bots while one faces Gabe head-on. It would fit in with the idea of this being one final battle.

There's always two sounds added with each mercenary (earbuds recommended to hear them). The engineer also adds a shooting sentry. Kinda hard to hear it though. Spy adds his revolver shot as well. I think Pyro is also extinguishing, but I'm not sure of it.

This was the first one I saw once I got all the vid notifs. Already loving how GabeN sounds, and I love the idea of each merc getting their piece! Plus, Fourth Wall is just an awesome song anyways! Excellent song so far, positive it'll be great all the way through! Edit: And I was right, excellent song all the way through! I really enjoyed how each merc had their own sound effects in their parts of the song, makes it easier for each merc to shine even more! Great song man!

I love how all the mercs are trying to convince gaben to wake the fuck up and update the game more consistently since, you know, its his greatest source if income

Context: Gabe Newell Was Going to Apologize to TF2 Mercenaries For Abandoning Them And Give Them More Updates, But The TF2 Mercenaries Were so Angry That They Wouldn't Let Him Speak And Started Fighting With Him.

Out of the 6, this is definitely my favourite because I absolutely love Fourth Wall and TF2 and all the mercs sing as well which is just really cool.

Anybody notice how depending on which character is singing, their weapons are going off in the instrumental? Really clever detail!

Absolute perfection. The vocals, the interchanging character rebelling with their own voices and sound effects thrown into the mix. Beautiful, clean, sweet perfection.

This is awesome, using the 9 mercenaries and putting them against Gaben is such an awesome concept!

I listen to this and the next day there is a new blogpost stating there will be a new update to TF2...

I heard the new background effects and just imagined all the mercs getting respective kills. Like scout would just be running around whacking people with his bat, soldier just rocket jumping, pyro firing an air blast either to throw someone off a cliff or fire a rocket back, demoman building the ultimate sticky trap, medic getting a few kills with the ubersaw, spy just jumping around and trick stabbing everyone, sniper just getting headshot after headshot, and engineer sitting near a funny sentry.

A great song because it actually fits so well with the tf2 updates of how long they take.

I think the higher viewership compared to other covers is a testimony to TF2 and the undying adoration for it in all it's forms I'll always love this silly class-based shooter

If there were lyrics, I bet it would have Gaben talk about how flawless the game is and how long it took to make it and each mercenary would speak their case about something so frustrating about the game, to crate depression and the Bots.

Scout would be talking about weapon glitches, soldier would just be pissed in general, pyro, demoman would talk about clipping glitches, Heavy would tell gabe he needs a real update, Engi would be talking about bots, Sniper would also be talking about bots, Medic would talk about Crate Drought, Spy would be talking about glitches with the game, and the ending segment where all of the mercs show up one after the other would be a unanimous plea for a new update.

i'm not even a fan of FNF but i love the TF2 content lol, and this is no exception. it's a bop. the "voices" are great, and i LOVE the detail of additional class-related sound effects for each class's part, like demo and stickybomb noises, engineer and sentry noises, spy and knife + revolver noises. . . a very cool detail that i absolutely love. good job furscorns! edit: all the class sound effects i could hear Scout: bat + pistol fire Soldier: rocket fire + explosion Pyro: airblast (+ flamethrower fire?) Demoman: stickybomb fire + detonation beep Heavy: minigun rev + tomislav fire Engineer: sentry beep and fire Medic: ubersaw hit + syringe gun fire Sniper: jarate splash + rifle fire Spy: knife stab + revolver fire

The added class sounds are actually in tune? I love it!

When I first saw this cover, I wasn't so sure about it. Now I can't stop watching it, I love it. Great job, especially adding the extra lines and sfx!

No one seems to notice, or at least mention, the fact in the slower part with alarms going off, there's the sound of snipers chuckling in the background. On top of the final shot with a robot sniper at the end with that same chuckle, the moment seems to be a reference to the bot situation.

It likely references the fact that the clients of automated snipers that flooded servers being "bots," or robots So that robot sniper at the end likely references them and the fact they aren't actual humans at the wheel.

Awesome and so well done! This version of Fourth Wall is definitely a banger and TF2 sure does deserve more appreciation, support, and some new proper updates. Nice job on adding the voice lines and sound effects for this too. So I don't blame the characters for confronting their creator Gabe Newell even if it means wanting the game that they come from to have more love and support.

Great job on the song, glad someone made a tf2 cover of this. Good use of voices and sound effects, and that ending was well made.

Ah Yes The Tf2 Classes Fighting Theyre Father Inorder To Update The Game But For Real this Is Actually a Good Cover Keep Makin Good Covers Bro

The background tf2 Sfx swapping as the vocals changed to and from each Merc is an amazing idea both in concept and execution, and it makes for a wonderful musical addition. But as well made as this is, in my personal opinion, it’s heavily dragged down by the missing harmonization in Gabe’s vocals that was present in the original with Scott’s vocals. Still a solid 6/10 imo, but it just feels incomplete without the harmonization. Thanks for reading my subpar opinion.

dude, this is pure art a bunch of mere characters joining forces to fight for their very survival against their own creator when the mercs are singing, their weapons join the instrumental, for example demo’s stickybombs near the end of the song, the alarm blaring shows that the end is imminent and it’s about to get even harder gabe looks unphased, arms crossed, but the mercs are all in battle stance, weapons drawn. i love this cover so much.
