Played this all the time digitally in the Pinball Hall of Fame: The Williams Collection video game! It would be insanely cool to own one someday. Maybe Arcade1UP will make a digital pinball of it.

I love how Rudy's eyes and mouth move and follow the ball.

Great game in perfect condition. Rudy is (still) one of the best game features / attractions EVER. Played this one a lot when it came out, as it was in the bar I frequented. I still use some Rudyisms to this day...

Right on. Any form of funhouse is worth playing!

Awesome condition of one of my favorite pinball machines ever. There's a skillshot for this table where when you plunge the ball if you can get the ball to roll into Rudy's hideout you get a 250k bonus, then 500k, 750k and 1 million each time afterwards. Also a three and four way combo (left ramp, right gangway, trapdoor loop then Rudy's mouth) for 500k and 1 million but it has to be done quickly. Getting extra balls via the gangway is crucial to having a long and high scoring game imo.

Yes it is a cool skill shot for sure. I typically go for the soft plunge to get control on the right flipper unless Rudy is lit for something and then I will plunge all the way around to the upper flipper. I love that there are basically three different plunging options on this game.

@@pinballshenanigans The combo is pretty tough to do because the right gangway "gate" is so small that you pretty much need to get a perfect shot off the left flipper for the ball to go up through the gate and around the right gangway orbit. You have to do 1) left ramp 2) right gangway 3) trapdoor sensor for the first 3 way combo bonus of 500k in that exact order, and if you can then hit Rudy in the mouth within i think 3 seconds after hitting the trapdoor loop sensor you'll get the 4 way combo bonus for an additional million, so you can actually earn 1.5 million if you hit all 4 shots. The 3 way combo can also be done during midnight multiball to get the trapdoor jackpot + 500k combo bonus. It's tough but if you can master those shots you can really pile on the points.

@@pinballshenanigans Oh, midnight multiball is just the name of the multiball you get when Rudy falls asleep and you hit the ball into his mouth

I remember when I was in grade school and I played this game at Pistol Pete’s Pizza when it was called that lol. Brings back memories of my childhood. Thanks for the awesome video. 👌👍🏼

Your channel is very underrated it’s sad that most of the pinball KZreadrs are shut down by the KZread algorithm well to be exact pinball isn’t that popular like it was in 92 or 93 but I still enjoy it keep doing what your doing!

My parents have this exact game as a physical machine. Unfortunately it is extremely hard to find replacement parts and professionals to do the maintenance on the machine here in germany. Amazing game though, i have always loved it. Although my generation was never really pinball-related i had some fun nights with my friends here when it was still possible to get parts!

These old games would be so much more fun with refreshed programming and sound packages. I know some purists would hate that, but I think there is a lot that can be done to make one an old machine like this next level. For example, turn funhouse into a modern horror…. I remember this game i didn't play the actual pinball machine but I had a Playstation2 pinball game with alot of pinball games and fun house was my favorite one to play and basicaly everytime i play one of my goals was to get Rudy to sleep or just hit him in the face 🤣

@@pinballshenanigans in the video game im not sure if that happends but the pinball machine yeah i like how it shutters Sometimes funny thing is when he would sometimes say "I thought we were pals" and i would spam the lever buttons whenever the ball is near it (or whatever you call them things that hit the ball) And sometimes right after he sais that I hit him in the face Almost as if saying "no were not BONK!" but still realy fun game over all i think it was rudy that got me so interested in the game in the first place im interested In animatronics especially if their old and rudy to me is basicaly like an animatronic Nowadays I wonder if I still have that pinball video game I dont ghink I have the PS2 any more but I think I have the game somewhere and could still probably play it on the Playstation 4 idk Also thanks for the mirror tip you demonstrated in this video if I do end up finding the game again ill have to try the mirror trick out

I thought about it and decided against it. Maybe once I see the final results and how stable the software and complete the software is.

I know this is old, but I just got a restored beautiful example of funhouse with funhouse 2.0 installed too but 2. Things are happening I was hoping you could help with. 1. Hitting Rudy is impossible, it’s like the flipper is too weak or I’m not sure. Basically it has to hit at the very very top of the flipper and the ball has to be rolling slowly. It’s aligned straight the rail to its left. 2nd is my right flipper is weak, yours seems very strong, did you add a different coil or?

Very cool!! Sounds like you need to rebuild your flippers. You can buy a flipper rebuild kit that should do the trick! You could check in the manual and make sure you have the correct coils as well but typically they do not need to be replaced unless they are incorrect.
