Are you guys joking? Tim absolutely destroys fundora without that cut. All the damage fundora received was from first 2 rounds. Fundora didn’t make any adjustments mid fight. It’s because Tim reactions were compromised due to blood blocking his vision.

it seems Porter kinda mixed up the rounds for the Tszyu fight. He mashed together the first two dominant rounds as if they were just one, and then talked about round 3 and 4 like they were actually round 2 and 3. Easy mistake to make, I guess.

Man, I love tpwp but intrinsic bias aside. Fundoras’ tactical response from round 3 was purely survivalist and rudimentary. That cut saved his ass from a looming public execution and his answer to Tims offence was primarily defensive and he still barely managed to accomplish it by a split decision. I respect Tszyu for not quitting because yes, it would have been the smart thing to do, but it would have been a dishonorable thing to do as well because the cut was HIS FAULT. He headbutted Fundora's elbow, not the other way around. If you watch closely, during Tszyu's attempt to counter Fundora's jab, he steps on Fundoras foot, for the 2nd or 3rd time mind you. That caused Tszyu to lose his balance and the momentum from missing the counter took Tszyu's head straight into Fundoras elbow that was appropriately in guard. Like Mayweather said "if you make a mistake, you have to pay". And on that night, Tszyu's mistakes with his feet caused his injury. Fundora was in position. Tszyu was out of position, and paid the price. End of story.
