Fundamentals of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

Ғылым және технология

The topic addresses fundamental concepts of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) in practice. It covers language, method, and modeling tool of MBSE, mainly focusing on the last one.
The session demonstrates
- Cameo Systems Modeler UI
- New project creation
- New diagram and element creation
- Element vs symbol
- Containment vs composition
- Definition vs usage
- Relationship creation
- Navigation in the model
The session was hosted by Aiste Aleksandraviciene, Solution Architect at No Magic, Inc.

Tip: Set the playback speed between 1.25-1.35. It's much easier to watch it like this.

Innoslate software task This is an individual assignment. Using INNOSLATE, Please perform a functional analysis (decomposition) of 'to manage' (more specifically, 'Manage a Project') which should include a very thorough decomposition. You must use INNOSLATE. Ensure you number your functions and go down 3 levels (F0, F1, F1.1) This should be a refresher from your SE3100 Fundamentals of Systems Engineering Class (Blanchard and Fabrycky, Buede and the DAU SE Fundamentals). If not, let me know. The point is to get to a functional decomposition with which you feel comfortable and your logic and structure for functions is sound. You must explain in writing (1-3 paragraphs) why you selected the functions and the functional structure in order to communicate your logic. You must also cite sources and provide a list of references. This assignment should be 3-4 pages and enough content to explain why and how you created the decomposition. Budget- 30-35$USD Timeline- 2-3 Days can you do this assignment for me?? Email id- bshelpinhomework@gmail.com

A very good tutorial, set speed to 1.25 and it should be good. It's not that she isn't prepared, it's just the difficulty of finding the correct words/ways to express what she wants to say. People whose first language is not English would understand.

Great tutorial: Thanks for sharing! @ 32:++ Those requirements are very high level, ambiguous, not testable IMO, but I get the intent. If these were customer requirements, the requirements need to be drilled way down.

What is that "relations" structure in the containment view? my models dont seem to have it

  • @aiste9A

    @aiste9A

    3 жыл бұрын

The *Relations* node in the blank project displays if the project has "profile application" or "package import" relationships. If you don't see that node it may be that your project is UML and doesn't have these relationships. Or maybe you're using later Cameo version, where this node displays only if the auxiliary resources are displayed. For this, click the gears icon at the top-right corner of the *Containment* tab and click to select *Show Auxiliary Resources*.
