FREE TEMPLATE:
Lens template: drive.google.com/file/d/1mp0I...
Face shell template by DaliLomo DIY (original Pepakura file by gimpee): dali-lomo.blogspot.com/2014/0...
Fabric mask template by Bryan Alzate: www.mediafire.com/file/d28s7hd...
**YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THE TEMPLATE IF YOU ARE LOGGED IN ON A SCHOOL EMAIL**
How to print the template:
1. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader here (for free): acrobat.adobe.com/us/en/acrob...
2. Right click on the template, then click "Open With" and "Adobe Acrobat Reader DC"
3. Click the printer icon at the top left
4. For Bryan Alzate and DaliLomo DIY's templates, look under "Page Sizing & Handling" and click "Poster" and set the "Overlap" to "0 in". For my lens template, click "Size" instead of "Poster"
5. I scaled Bryan Alzate's fabric mask template to 107%, but printed the other two templates at 100%. You may or may not need to print these templates at a different scale, depending on the size of your head. DaliLomo DIY has a blog post about how to resize his face shell template to accommodate your head size which you can find here: dali-lomo.blogspot.com/p/head... Keep in mind that changing the scale of one template means you'll have to adjust the scale of the other templates accordingly; for example, if you print the face shell at 110%, then you should also print the lenses at 110% and the fabric mask at 117%
6. Click "Page Setup..." and specify what type of paper you are using (US Letter for example) before printing

These are insanely awesome videos, not just because they are pure genius and so well done but the fact that you are doing this with everyday materials so that ANYONE can follow along and do these. From the designs to how well you explain exactly how to do it to providing links to every possible thing you would need to do this puts your videos ABOVE all the other ones out there that I've seen. Other people are making cool stuff and showing how they did it, BUT they're using equipment and materials that can be out of range like 3D printers, C&C cutters etc... Most of the equipment they use I don't have. At the moment I'm not in a position to be a patreon donor, but once I am I will be supporting what you're doing. It boggles my mind how your list of donors isn't 50 times longer. Obviously you could make some really sick sh@# if you were using 3D printers and all that, so you definitely are going to make your mark. I don't know if your making low budget stuff because you don't have a bigger budget, but I HOPE that no matter how far you get and I know you're going to go far that you would not stop making cool stuff like you do for the low budget enthusiast. That Green Goblin mask blew me away, it looks professional and ready to film. I used to make paper craft stuff all the time and due to the smell and toxicity, clean up etc... was looking into Aqua resin, a water based resin as a possible coating for papercraft. A suggestion on doing projects is like with the Goblin mask you used Super Sculpy, you can cook the coating with a heat gun rather than an oven so it's more controllable. Don't know if you used an oven or not, just a thought. Take care, anxious to see what you come up with next :)

This is genuinely the best tutorial for these kind of things that I’ve ever seen! The other ones all require 3d printers, random tech stuff, and are super hard to follow, but this is really easy and the materials aren’t that hard to gather! One thing though, how do you attach the outside of the lenses to the mask? The video didn’t show it. Edit: Just now realized that the updated tutorial for No Way Home came out yesterday, so I’m just going to use that one

Hi Sean! I love your tutorials. However, I have repeatedly attempted to make the shell of the mask, and each time failed, and I don't know what I'm doing wrong. The wood filler was too crusty, so I must have gotten a different type than yours, as it didn't go on very easily, even watered down. Do you have any suggestions to improve on the way I make th shell? Thanks!

I love the fact it's a budget build..you usually see people who make this kind of thing use a 3D printer or something..this reminds me of one of my first little builds as a kid. I was and still am a big Megaman fan, and my mom worked for a newspaper delivery and she would have to put some in the boxes..which would also mean we had left over place cards..so I folded one into a tube around my arm, taped and glued it together after painting it the right shade of blue, then glued some yellow colored paper squares on it and I had a sliding arm canon like Megaman had..though it was more slim like the one from Battle Network that came out some years later. I'd love to see some DC work like a Talon costume, Talon has this weird eye piece that looks like owl eyes with a tiny beak over his nose and his gloves have claws on all the fingers..I have NO idea how to go about adding even fake claws to a glove like he wears and I can't find any freaking vids on that..

Wouldn't it be easier to, instead of making the mouth trigger contraption, make something so the top one gets pushed by your brow ridge? It would also allow movement of the eyes individually. Idunno, should probably try it myself.

do you mean like i close the right eye and the right eye closed as well. yes it’s possible but it has to include the sensor, so it’s no more a mechanical mask but an electronic mask

@@James-zr8vi it’s possible but i think the pression and force that an eyebrow has it isn’t enough for a mechanical sistem, so it become an electrical one
