That Ed Sullivan hat story was from their final appearance, singing "Three Ways From Tomorrow"

Spanky & Our Gang were great! Sunday Will Never Be The Same was my favorite song of theirs. What Spanky did with her voice in that song "Sunday Will Never Be The SAAAAMMMEEE" with that sort of reverb in her voice was so great! Anyway, my son does RAP music. I would LOVE to hear Spanky do a collaboration with him where she RAPs a few words! Wouldn't that be GREAT! Anyway, loved this interview. Send Spanky my Luv and thank her for the GREAT memories and for being a significant part of the songbook of my life.

I would supply the artists the questions in advance. If I was thrown a question about my past, I would have to think about it. Especially with such a lengthy career.

Sometimes you don't get a chance for that and have to do things on the fly.

Also, it's more fun to not have everything rigidly scripted. Prepared, yes; scripted, no.

@@MarkArnoldComicsHistorian - I would never suggest it to be rigid for sure because an answer usually expands to additional conversations. But at least parts of the interview will be known so everything isn't an on-the-spot recollection challenge. Gosh, that would be tough to remember names and dates on the fly. But I know she did a much better job than I could ever do.

I was wondering about his past, how did he start in music, about being married. Did he have hepatitis or did he drink? I still today have a crush on him.

Really couldn't understand what was being said as the sound was bad.

Unfortunately, she only wanted to do it via cell phone. I did boost the gain after recording.

Elaine and her fans deserve better audio than this. She is a legend and I just want to give her a big virtual hug..

@@MarkArnoldComicsHistorian - It took a while for my brain to tune into her audio because it seemed to get better as it went on. I will have to relisten to the first half as I'm sure I will pick up more words now.
