I’ve just bought 1 for £280 from Halfords! I feel I’ve hit a bargain! These are ideal for me as a Hgv driver to park up and find a local gym or beauty spot! Great review thanks!

I think you were being a bit harsh on the quality of the bike. It looks good to me with regard to the brakes and gears which are excellent for a folder and won’t give you any problems that regular servicing won’t cure. It looks like it’s got a lot going for it and It’s certainly on my radar. The only way you can really comment on the quality is when you have ridden it for a couple of months on a regular basis and put some miles on it to see how well the plastic parts hold up.

The bike look nice. After the installation, you need to do some minor adjustment or tuning to the brakes and gear. Also try riding getting use to the gear and adjust the seat, handle bar etc. Your dog is so cute, sitting there looking at you doing the installation.

I saw this and thought it was a bit of a bargain! you won't get much of a folding bike anywhere else for this price, even for twice, three times this. The next model up was even better but sadly i think they have stopped making it. Carrera make some great bikes 🚴‍♂Enjoy!

Yes. I've only used it once since buying it :-). But I guess it's there if ever I need it...

It’s a rebadged dahon so they are pretty good quality

Be interesting how bike sales go in 2024... Brompton introducing a 12 speed now so makes you wonder whether people are holding-off on buying bikes forcing companies to be more innovative or less expensive...

Plus point it has 20" wheels which roll better than 16 " . It is cheap . So would not feel so wounded if it was ever stolen. Nor so fussed if it got scratched a bit with heavy folding use. Down points are It does not fold as small as a Brompton. The Disc brakes are overkill for what it is. Only one choice colour on that basic model.

@@snap_drama346 V brakes are lighter and work easily enough . You tried a well adjusted pair of Vs . Less hassle all around

@@333wheeler oh the rubber breaks yh I might consider getting a dahon folding bike instead then I just find the stopping power for the rubber ones very strong so I've come shooting of the bike once with disk brakes ive not had that fair play we all fall of the bike at least twice a year we'll I do
