Certainly this topic is huge, especially if it comes to combinations and sources of different filters. Thanks a lot for this one, any further video will be highly appreciated.

More custom filters tutorials PLEASE !
This is totally crazy! how by entering to the group you could instantly write in chalky! and I didn't know about the filter editor. Thank you so much, this is valuable information
These are those videos where you wonder how anybody figures this out!? But I am glad you did! I wanted to use this effect and would have never found this out on my own. But in today's world, you must seek and apply. Thanks a lot. The changes in the 1.3 filter editor were easily translated. Keep up the good work.
Hey this was awesome. I had no idea we could create our own filters. Yes, please do more videos explaining the various aspects of doing this. This is very exciting!!! Thank you!

I'll give it a try!
Things changed a bit in 1.3. Turbulent size = 2.7 now and displacement scale is now 2. (YMMV) My page size is 720x480. Dont know if that makes a difference. Still a cool effect!

Good to know!
How do you save custom filters so you always have them available and don't have to organize them every time?

Good question! One way is to save the document that has the custom filter, and if you create an object in that document and apply the filter to it, you can copy and paste the object into another document, and it will also copy over the filter. You can then delete the copied object in the new document. But this guy shows another way, which requires editing Inkscape's filters.svg file (easier than it sounds): kzread.info/dash/bejne/qIx5ss9teZa5pLQ.html

@@SweaterCatDesigns Thank you for your suggestion. You are a very helpful person; I hope that through your channel you get the right and dutiful satisfaction: you are a true professional, not one of the usual "amateurs in the fray" who populate youtube: a precious help for those who frequent the large inkscape community. Good work
