I commend you for trying and executing this beautiful egg! You inspired me to make one (not so intricate,) so I'm working on it now. I actually got my inspiration from another egg that you made and just continue watching any and all videos of yours that can give me ideas. Mine had a happy accident, it's a styrofoam egg covered in furry flocking that I covered with primer, chalk paint, etc. I was trying to heat dry it and accidentally sent a crack traveling through it... I LOVED how that white crack looked under my teal paint so I purposely created more cracks around the egg. My two decopauge pictures are vintage/mostly black and white/with a little color of little girls at Easter. I'll try to share the finished project with you after I'm done! Thx for the inspiration and sorry about the long message... ❤❤❤

I have found that, when working with double-sided tape, once I lay the double-sided tape down if you take another piece of tape and put it over the double-sided tape and rub a little, when I lift it up the backing from the double-sided tape comes right up. In the case of this project, you might have to rub the paint from the double-sided tape first. I absolutely LOVE your work.

Thank you! I think I should have taken a bit more time laying out the diamonds so everything looked more centered around the image and in the back. I still haven’t come up with a solution in my head on how to do that exactly. 🤔🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

There's zero chance that I could do what you are doing to make the leaves and vines! I am thinking that I'll try that tulip fabric puffy paint with the tiny applicator hole. What do you think? I've already been shopping for the two sided tape roll and gilding sheets. I sent you an email! Did you receive it? I also joined your FB group. You're such an inspiration and I'm learning more than my tiny brain can handle from you 😂 I've never seen anyone do the antique wax and then the color, it's always been vice versa. I love that idea and I'm going to try it next! See? I learn so much from you ❤
