How do you like it?

In your opinion, do you think it would be easy to convert to a piano from this keyboard?

My ten year old son is beginning piano lessons and we need something at home for him to practice on. With four little boys in the house, we are scared to invest in anything too expensive…. Especially since we don’t know if they will take to it and want to continue long term. Would this model be your recommendation for an at home practice keyboard? Or would there be something else more appropriate for our needs?

Controls are a bit fiddly for me. It would take to long to scroll through the options. A touch screen would be better.

I didn't hear anything about a power adaptor coming with the piano. I got the USB chord but no power adaptor which is different. Not sure why this wasn't pointed out.

It definitely comes with a power adapter. Check in the styrofoam packing to see if it's concealed somewhere. If you didn't receive one, contact the seller.

I love the sound of it but I found the thumping are too oud when you press the keys. Is that normal?

We mic'd it with room mics so you can hear everything in the room. It's not too loud for me, but everyone is different. We've only tested a few digital pianos here, but if you press any key hard enough, there will be a thump.

I mean the one I have seems to be loud when I hit the keys.

I just bought it myself, but it’s on sustained the entire time, and then when I press the pedal it stop sustaining. How do I get it to sustain whenever I press on the pedal?

I would contact the manufacturer. Maybe the pedal you are using is wired backwards? They will know...

Hi. There are two types of pedals. Some are "normal open" and some are "normal closed". Try different pedals and you will likely find one to solve your problem.

Do you think this is better than a donner?

They're very different. This piano has lighter action and the Donner is heavier. So, it depends on what you prefer. The Donner has more watts and is a bit louder. The sound(s) are different for both and can be heard on our reviews. Check our Donner reviews too, so you decide what resonates with you!

Can you list the models of digital pianos at this price point that sound better? That would be more useful for people watching this video, so they can listen to those other instruments and decide for themselves. Simply writing that this digital piano sounds horrible and that others sound better isn't very helpful for those deciding....
