22:30 this line hurts knowing the course of the next events.

After seeing more of her lines, I gotta say that Gonzalez did a fine job with the direction the game took with the character, as it seems more inspired by the less snarky/mean version of Yukari in the Japanese version. I still vastly prefer Ruff as I think Yukari being mean/difficult to like at times adds to her character arc of opening up and learning to be kinder, but yeah. Overall solid job for one of the best Persona characters.

I remember people often hating Yukari back in the day, but I always liked her. Romancing her in her S-Link always made the most sense to me.

I LOVE what Michelle Ruff did with her character, but to be honest, her performance always felt like it made Yukari a bit too mean spirited? she's always a been a bit complicated, but I think the original performance made her more harsh than they intended. This is to say that I really enjoy how she's portrayed in Reload. It feels like, both the writing and performance, consciously went out of it's way to soften her up and it's much easier to get behind her like that.

Yeah, Reload Yukari felt softer, warmer... like a warm blanket to keep you safe and in good company. She'll protect her friends like a good supporting hero she is. Not related to Yukari's description but (P4 Arena spoilers) I love Yukari becoming a superhero, being a pink ranger, and actually being a cool lead over the usual red ranger in the show she performs in.

I mean children have the tendency to imitate their parents without even realizing. Thankfully, although she deals with grief in the same way as her mom does by trying to ignore the hurt that's going on inside her heart, at least the method she goes about it with is better. All she basically did was just indulge herself in her work and studies so that she doesn't have time to think about her feelings. Although this is still not great, it's a hundred times less damaging than just randomly sleeping around with people you don't even have a connection too. And she definitely learned quicker than her mom. I mean the woman literally abandoned her kid for 10 years before she realized what truly mattered in her life which was Yukari.

Sorry bro but the core members of SEES are story locked so you have to reach at least a certain arc to date them. Heck there's even one girl that doesn't give you the option to date her until the very last month of the game. Not to mention, most of them you need to max out your social stats for. For Yukari, you need max Charm, Mitsuru max Academics, and Fuuka max Courage. It's a been challenging so I advise you to just concentrate on other social links while also leveling up your stats.

Somehow someway Yukari I got out of a romance with Yukari and she never asked me any of those questions going into Rank 9. I don't know how I locked myself out but I was between her and Chihiro for this playthrough so I guess this simplifies things lol... But did anybody run into the same issue?

depends on your type and if you have the stats to do it yukari: max charm, available on 7/25, she's down to earth and sometimes relatable mitsuru: max smarts, available on 11/21, total girlboss and girlfailure

Hey, this is a comment I found in another video about Yukari's social link and one of these is probably the reason why you couldn't romance her. Commentor: Just a heads up, if you don't respond "I wouldn't mind" during rank 5-6, the romance route is dead. You have to take that option or you'll get friendzoned at rank9. You can also fail the romance route if you dont hug her during the vacation arc at the beach.

You maybe picked the worst dialogue option every time
