I know you make shaping the 1/4 arch look so easy to do but that could be further than the truth. Wow amazing work. I could only wish I had half those skills.

Yeah its pretty cool to see this progress and level of fabrication. I did this and the last video on Davinci Resolve, really steep learning curve, many hours spent watching tutorials but now I absolutely love it and can't believe I used to edit on my phone!

I have this exact job todo on my ute and old mate did a flawless job i really don't do this sort of work anymore unless its for myself and everytime i underestimate the time energy and effort it takes to do a good job

Nice, I see a 73 for sale on Trademe here in NZ . Great condition but not cheap.

What was the condition of the inner guard? Were any repairs needed before welding the outer skin on? I've found that rusty outer panels usually have rust damage behind. Loved seeing how that panel was fabricated. Great work. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Let's just say they need some attention! Its interesting following Paul's process, why not do those inners now? I don't know but he always has solid reasoning behind his process which we will all find out. I do suspect he is starting to prepare me for things to get really invasive with this build.

Thankyou much appreciated! Your question about Paul having a channel is an interesting one as its something he and I have spoken about a fair bit. Basically the time required and commitment to do just what I'm doing is massive, way bigger than I ever imagined. Definitely not a decision to be taken lightly!

Hi. Just wondering, are the rear wheel arches the same shape, size as the front guards? Use sections from the front guards?

I was looking at the front guard last night, I don't have the car to compare but they are definitely similar with the flare and the way it transitions to flat. I'll have a look at the rears next time I go to Bodymods.
