It's bothering me that the saturation is a bit less compared to Mi UI. The icons look washed out. Ugh.

OMG. The main changes are the task scheduler and the kernel change! If this is true, then the new OS should be much more energy efficient. The first thing to compare was the autonomy of the phones, not these useless little things.

The attention to subtle animations is what makes an OS feel polished and usually Android phones doesn’t have that to the same extent as iPhones. So it’s a welcome change.

This feels like the first version of HarmonyOS, but this is a great improvement to Xiaomi’s UI comparing to previous versions of MIUI.

I agree about the charging animation the miui is more appealing.. maybe still on early stages..

Still what i hate on miui is the fact that they give no option of always showing charge animation. Especially with these 50w+ super fast charging speeds. Good and smooth animation, but the screen turns off after few seconds 😢

HyperOS is an interesting improvement from Xiaomi and in my opinion looks a good job.👍🧡💙💛

I'm using Xiaomi 11 T Pro MIUI 14 Android 13. When I drag from top left they'll show notifications then I clear all notifications by press x button. The badges count at app's icon is clear too that's I don't like it. Could you please test this scenario on hyperOS?

Can you set aptx lossless on HyperOS? I understand that aptx lossless is supported if 24bit 44.1 kHz is fixed to aptx adaptive.

Why is no one who has access to HyperOS checking if they can use gestures with 3rd party launchers? It's like the biggest complaint of Miui yet no one is checking this.

The thing that prevent me to update to hyperos is the smooth of MIUI that could be better than this new os What's your opinions guys? And this thing could affect on the experience of your daily use?

For me I prefer the new charging design. Very straightforward. More often than not I find the MIUI 14 charging animation to be something extra and the percentage isn't actually accurate.

thats because xiaomi uses Li poly batteries. It degrades faster.

HyperOs future move i think

I wish they add features presented in some launchers such as Microsoft Launcher which has a widget screen, shortuctus, home screen app drawer and lots of customization settings, the only drawside is that the 2 apps on screen doesn't work (not the one through sidebar, but the one from the menu)

is there a pre installed bloatware ? on Hyper OS? how about the Game Turbo? is there a difference changes? and also the optimization? and how fast The ui ? is there a difference about the ui for fast and smoothness? thank you

About the weather widget or other widget in the homescreen.. When swipe up to homescreen from the weather app, is it have "back to weather widget animation transition"? Like when you're on the app that has the icon in homescreen, it'll go back to the app icon animation transition, when swipe up to homescreen.

@@talharoxen Oh. Ofc iphone does that. But the context here, is it going to behave like the android 13/14 on pixel/AOSP or other brand android skin. On MIUI/hyperOS it'll do that animation for some widget, like music widget. And only native apps widget. The third party app widget did not.

I always hated those animations in MIUI HyperOS really impressed me and I may give up on selling my phone if it's good in the parts I hate then I will continue to use my phone.

If I don't update to HyperOS, does it mean all future updates will still trigger the update to HyperOS? If I update to HyperOS, would my APPs installed reorganize to HyperOS default layout, or it will remain my existing layout? If I want to stay with the Old Control Center, can I switch back without uninstall the last update?

Agreed. Animations look much smoother in miui 14. The transition is perfect. In hyperos, it does show the transition layer for some apps like Dialer and browser. Kinda disappointed

In HyperOS can you 1) use a third party launcher like Nova? and 2) if yes, can you use gesture control when using a third party launcher? Currently, you can't. Did they fix this? I had the mi9 lite and i LOVED it. But then i found out that in newer versions of miui, you can't use gestrures when using a third party launcher. This was a clear deal breaker for me, so I got a samsung phone... I really want my next phone to be a xiaomi because i liked it better, but I can't live without the customization of nova launcher...
