The landlady has paid her each time she cleaned for her. She also gave her money to buy food. She let's her live in the bamboo house free. All she asked was for her to keep it clean and tend to the garden. Everyone calls her an evil lady but she just doesn't want her son with this pitiful pregnant girl. I don't blame her I would feel the same way.

@francesashley6035 I grew up on a farm and we fed our goose and ducks bread all the time but nothing ever happened to their wings. This goose has a broken wing according to the woman that raised and sold this goose. She had a goose farm and told Le this goose broke the wing. It seems to not be bothered by it much but it is painful to watch. They are very loyal to their owners.
