Gal has such a wonderful, down to earth personality, noticed how she always care about others feelings whenever she speaks. As much as she likes to joke she has always been sensible with her approach.

    "This is a hero that speaks for both genders." yes, Tiffany! that's one of many reasons why I love how Patty made the movie... it's not about women supremacy which many people often mistaken feminism for... it's about humanity, love, compassion, the pain caused by wars... things that everybody can relate... I went to see the movie twice! I loved it that much! ♥️
it's not about women supremacy which many people often mistaken feminism for...
People aren't mistaking modern feminism for women supremacy, they're just recognizing that's exactly what it has turned into. That, and overall man-hating. Not cool. It was one of the things I was worried about for this movie and was very glad to see that it didn't reduce itself to man-bashing. Excellent film. Very, very well done.

    CynDaVaz you're getting mixed up with misandry/feminazis where they hate males and think women should be superior. - im a feminist and i mainly focus on female issues but i focus on male issues too

  • @CynDaVaz

    @CynDaVaz

    7 жыл бұрын

    I'm not getting it mixed up. Feminism - especially today's incarnation - comes from a fundamental dislike of and/or hatred for men. If you focus on male and female issues that makes you more of an egalitarian than feminist. Besides, just the word "feminist/feminism" itself is divisive.

  • @bubblechaz

    CynDaVaz God, I was afraid to use the term 'man-hating' but I'm with you on that. a lot of posts in social media twist feminism into 'man-hating' it's so cringy. I've grown up with three younger brothers, of course there are a lot of things they see differently than the way most women see it, but I don't see that as problems, that's why communication was invented. bad people are bad people regardless the gender, and identifying ourselves with any kind of ideology often only makes us losing objectivity.

    Zack Snyder is at the helm for a reason. It's not hard to see that he is a better director than party when comparing their movies. The richness of his scenes compared to hers shows what a perfectionist he is that a lot of people miss. That is not to say Patty isn't a good director because she is a Great director and I loved Wonder Woman. But Zack is good staying with justice league.

    Man of Steel disappointed me, but I eventually liked it after repeat viewing. Bat man V Superman was a huge disappointment, and it still is for me, but Gal was easily my favorite part of the film. She's the only reason I re-watch it. Suicide Squad; another huge disappointment, but Wonder Woman was phenomenal, and it is the quintessential DCEU film. It's gonna stand up for a long time as a triumph for both female heroes, and heroes in general. Her origin is one of the greatest that I've seen on film. What a movie...

    YaassTaahvs It really is an achievement for the creators, and actors of the film. I have to admit that I almost lost it a.k.a I almost cried during the warehouse fight when her theme started playing... That was an amazing moment for me to see on screen. I just read that the scene between Gal, and Chris on their way to London was completely improvised by the actors! Brilliant film.

    A GREAT Film, as a HUGE fan that collects ALL Wonder Woman memorabilia, knows the characters and facts about this Iconic character, Patty Jenkins and cast did WW Justice! So glad they were true to the Amazons, the story and WW herself. The dolls and actions figures are pretty awesome, I have bought them all. My only complaint is Warner Brothers did not market WW with promotional items at the theater and merchandising. I have seem some cool items at Wal Mart. Would have loved to have seen her attached to a food chain, products, etc. I would buy them. Over all , GREAT job Patty Jenkins, Cast, DC and Warner Brothers.

    I love Patty, she is such a great story teller. For her to do a movie with the perfect mix of paying homage to the origin superhero story meets Casablanca, turned out perfectly. I love how she is doing the movie for pure movie entertainment and not letting interviewers interject their political beliefs into movie. Keep politics separate from entertainment.
