Pia did so well too. She set a new bar then herself. At the MUO she brought life to the party. I think Gazini was a stand out and should have gotten into the Top 10 atleast. Her nervousness showed lang nga on the microphone. I get nervous too while saying my lines on the microphone.

@@DioSaH remember na umalis si Cartriona sa Aces&Queens kasi hindi nya nagustuhan ang pamamalakad nila sa mga trainees nila. she felt suffocated, hindi nya nagagawa yung mga gusto nyang gawin at yung mga ideas niya hindi ina-acknowledge ng A&Q kaya umalis sya doon at bumuo ng sarili nyang team with nicole cordoves.

Her personality, humility and realness just shines through. A true Queen indeed. Cat does not need a crown or a gown to show people who she is. You just know it right away. I love her so much for being a true role model. Indeed she has set the bar high for the suceeding Miss U's in the future. Yay Philippines.

Like her more now without the crown! So eloquent! It’d be a challenge finding a representative close to her caliber.

@@steverogers431 Not a determinant. Girls who want to compete will still apply and do the process it takes to compete at a pageant. There will be still representatives for Miss U, just not from Bb. Pilipinas. So walang sense na mahirap maghanap kasi naghiwalay ang MU Ph sa Bb. Ph.

Not really, that is the reason why Miss Universe wanted some profit. They do pay per view and you cannot vote if you do not buy votes on national costume. That is one of the reasons why the Miss Universe is 10 days only. Cat is more on helping and charity works. Thus, IMG wants a "profit" winner. They want a winner that is not really common. After 8 years, they crowned another black woman. Due to the fact that Leila Lopes has so much "profit" and even bagging the longest reign in Miss Universe for 464 days from 12th September 2011 - 18th December 2012. In fact, the new crown was not fully paid yet. The DIC crown was not able to utilize it to it is maximum because the debt behind it. That is why they brought back the Mikimoto. There will be tendencies that IMG would not able to pay it again if the Miss Universe would not gain any profit in the winner.

Melvin Raymundo Even before Cat won, MU org is not earning well. Cat brought in much money but not enough to offset the loss from previous years. She didn’t travel much & she traveled in coach as well even for long flights.

@@icyso12 wrong, they got more from cat and now they want to extend her contract with them for 3yrs but she was underused by the organization so im happy she's not limiting herself and staying with them just to get milk. The cut they get from the endorsement is enormous, and many endorsement contract are at bay just waiting for her contract at MU to expire, so Cat can get the bigger share of the money. And there's also a rumor she will be part of Asian Next Top Model.

Tapos dapat palitan na rin ang bangus ng tilapya bilang pambansang isda. Kasi tinanong sya ng foreigner kung ano raw national fish ng Philippines, sabi nya tilapya.

There's more to being a Filipino than just by saying "po". It just pains my ears when people think other Filipinos rude simply because they don't use "po". Not many understand that it is just not a part of the language in Visayas and Mindanao which doesn't make the people there less of a Filipino.

She is welcoming ... a kind of person that will love by many. There is no dull moment with Catriona. Her smile always comes from the heart.

Her childhood is in Australia... But unknown to many while growing up in Australia she is also growing up in the Philippines. In every long school break she has she will vacation in Albay... I met some of her relatives and they said that Cat as a child is very madaldal at inquisitive... She enjoys playing with neighbors children n typical larong probinsya...
