Story:
SUGA’s version of Over the Horizon, the signature Samsung musical theme, is now exclusively available for download from the Galaxy Z Fold3 | Z Flip3 5G page on Samsung.com.
Ten years ago, Samsung set out to create a signature sound that would motivate people to push their limits. Since then, it has been reimagined with each new edition of the Galaxy S Series. In the year of its tenth anniversary, beloved musical artist SUGA is the latest to produce the tune for the new editions of the Galaxy Z Series.
In the recent Voices of Galaxy campaign, SUGA explained what Over the Horizon meant to him. “It was an honour to work on a song that’s been part of Galaxy’s 10-year history. Everyone knows that it’s the Galaxy theme song just by its melody,” he said, adding “Like the title ‘Over the Horizon,’ it’s about going beyond our limits. No one knows what will unfold, but our dreams make us go farther than ever.”

the melody is really "his". Even if Samsung didn't mention "by Suga", I'll recognize this melody as his. it feels like his trademarks

@@blueberryeyes1567 oh, I see. The structure confused me, "even if they didn't ...I'll recognize" means "despite them not crediting...I'll recognize". The correct version would be "even if they hadn't credited by SUGA, I would recognize..." Just explaining what confused me because you capitalized the "if" when that's not the issue.
Yoongi is doing magic with this music. It has a distinct Suga sound to it. If you’ve been listening to his music long enough you’ll know that. I have never wanted to use a Samsung phone more than ever in my life. Min Yoongi power is irresistible. On top of that, very proud of our producer Suga and thank you Samsung for letting him recreate your iconic music. Let’s be honest, he takes it to a whole new level of iconic

Huh....how could you not listen to such an iconic ringtone , Samsung is always reinventing Over the Horizon and making it different each time they bring out a new phone , and it sounds better and better every time. This version takes the #1 spot of all time , this version is released at a time where our planet is in serious trouble and the only way to save our one and only home is by looking over the Horizon and changing the way we live because the earth is crying out for it's survival and Samsung is clearly trying to get people to change their destructive ways of creating less waste and keeping the environment clean.

this sounds like the song you would hear when you reach that unreachable line in the horizon, when you decide to go beyond it, to reach your dreams, not just following them but chasing them, eagerly and fearful maybe but determined it's a very elegant song, Yoongi is a genius i love him with my whole heart

This is one of the best Over the horizon ever produced..... he has added his own touch to it so creatively that it is mind blowing. I honestly admit when I first Heard this for a few seconds in the preview I eneded up literally crying.

@@kimseokjin1280 yes, MYG uses traditional instruments a lot in his music. Such a unique and beautiful way for us as westerners to experience Korean culture. I was a little surprised (happy surprised) to hear it in this song as sometimes big corporations try to keep things generic.

@@maddy6131 to my knowledge no, he "only" knows how to play piano, synth and guitar (and maybe knows some basics of drums, but as a producer he can produce a lot of instrument melodies with a synth and a computer, so these sounds could be computer made. But I doubt it since BTS likes to use real musicians and instruments in their music)

I set this as my ringtune and alarm now I ignore calls and listen to the music. Yoongi is absolute genius
He's really a music genius. Everything he touch, he owns. Me being unamused with his works is nowhere to be seen, never will.
That combination of violin & electric guitar is just amazing!
