I simply spent the best years of my life there(1997-2002 ). I feel so old watching this video. I lived in Brighton rode my bike everywhere. But spent most of my time in Cambridge, Somerville, Coolidge corner, Downtown etc. Night life was intense with all these Universities & played with my guitar in most of the clubs: Tt the bears, Passim, Cantab, etc. City almost deserted during holidays. Got nuts with the Red Socks. Used to eat at Redbones, the cafeteria on Prudential, also a little pizza place in the North end I forgot the name. Walking with friends along Charles River, on hot days went to Revere beach. Tower Records were on Newbury St. I could take a bus to New York city or Montreal for a change. But God! Boston was my kind of place. I wasn't even from this country. I'm from Belgium. "Tim Boston "is my stage name now.

I lived in Boston a few years before you....( 1935 to 1966 )........I've seen about everything before these tall buildings were built.... The tallest was the CUSTOM HOUSE CLOCK TOWER which is getting blocked by all these new ones going up.....LOGAN AIRPORT was called EAST BOSTON AIRPORT and it was wide open to walk anywhere except the runways of course......Only propeller planes flew there and l rode in one to NEW YORK....I've seen it all from riding the BOSTON ELEVATED RAILWAY that charged a nickle to go anywhere in the system......So glad that you enjoyed your visit.......Come back soon......
