I don't believe Wales "unlocked" us. I think McKinney ran out of gas and Berhalter left him too. That allowed Walles was able to get into rhythm. I believe this game will be won or lost in large part by Berhalter. The right subs at the right time and be fearless.

Glad to see Pulisic is going to play, I believe so long as GGG doesn't screw up the starting 11, game tactics, formations or subs and makes the proper adjustments to Holland's tactics and changes our young team will come out with the fire, speed, youthful exuberance and intelligent play to challenge the Dutch defence and press them into a few costly miscues leading to scoring opportunities. The match will be decided by us taking advantage them and playing smart, solid and energetic defence with no Zimmermans (inane challenges) in the box and whether or not we can keep up the pace of play needed to get a clean sheet. Goodluck boys, let's go get the win. I just hope the game is decided by the play on the pitch and not by an odious call or outright bias by the game officials. How bad they've been??? 2 wins + a draw doesn't seem so bad to me, do you feel the US have done any better??? I guess you do, I don't get where you're coming from, but a lot of US fans make no sense to me at all. If you're going on form, you'd have to fancy the Dutch, but I'm not + neither are you.............. Depay is out, I think? And nothing much scary about this Holland side, not by their own very high standards. The US are in with a great chance, not because Holland have been so poor, because the US are a well organised + dynamic outfit who'll give anyone a game. The Dutch might not be one of their best, but they cruised through the group stage into the last 16, where you obviously will find nothing other than good sides. It's a tough one to call, I can't see it being a one-sided game + it may well be a real ding-dong, end-to-end battle. I'm gonna go with the US.............. I'm sorry America, my backing has been known to be a curse, Dr Death-like touch, not all the time................ most of it................ there have been exceptions.............. one, or two.............

Nothing against Sam Borden, I've never heard of him before, but I'd prefer Stan Boardman, if he did the interviews it would definitely bring a bizarre edge to things. Thinking about it, that's not a bad way of describing his act, the way I remember it, anyway. Stan Boardman was an English comedian, if you didn't already know, who achieved some level of fame in the 70s/80s, there were a bunch of them in those days, none of them were funny + hosting game-shows was where they'd all end up.
