Very impressive, I was on the edge of my seat for that entire run! Showed my Father (played the old Battletech) and he was convinced there was no way you were beating that grasshopper in the end!

The only thing slower than Steiner Scouts.

The rise of the Urbie! Awesome! I've been waiting for this one :) On the subject of keyboards though, try out a mechanical board with either red or brown switches. No audible clicky, reds are quite light and good for gaming, browns have a tactile feel when they acticate which is better for typing. There are some nice, relatively inexpensive ones ouit there as well as some pretty pricey ones. Personally I'm a fan of the smaller boards so Coolermaster Masterkeys S is sweet, as is the Vortex Poker RGB.

YES URBIES, LOL... Been waiting what seems a year now and it didn't disappoint, well done brotha'... I'm running a Corsair k70 low pro with the MX Speed keys. Great board and I love it but if I had it to do again I'd get the standard K70 with the Speeds instead as the low pro is just a tiny bit smaller and I keep hitting the F11/F12 when I go for Backspace. Oh and the Speeds are remarkably quiet and responsive. Been using K70's for a couple years now since my Logitech died...

Are you really so surprised you managed to pull that off? Static defense is the entire reason UrbanMechs exist. You're just one of the few to use them correctly.

Should do a defense with 4 Urbies in a highly dense urban district. Or maybe that one campaign mission where you get ambushed in the middle of a city? Basically, urban warfare with urbies. :)

RIP G11 My G15 I had for about the same time as your G11 and I had to replace because space bar stopped working in January, damn loved that keyboard. lol Any keyboard that is not mechanical should be quiet enough for you tho they are not as responsive as mechanical.

I suggest the Logitech G-19 to replace the G-11. It's pretty quiet and I've had mine for a lotta years. Plus being able to look down and see a clock or your system resource usage anytime you're doing something, no matter what program you're running, is awesome.

I too suggest cherry mx red switches, or logitech romer-g switches, you can also get o rings you can put on the key caps that will cushion and mute when bottoming out the keys, that should help with the audio.

Now do it with a heavy rifle for all the Urbies, because nothing like simulating an oversized tank

instead of the large, you could take another medium and take more ammo, less range, but more ammo for that UAC :)

You could go for a Cherry MX with red silent mechanical keys, since it is cherry switches it is really durable and it is pretty silent, it will cost you around 100 € though and I am uncertaun about your budget

Hey, was exactly at the same point with my G11. Switched to Orion spectrum g910, it's mechanical but not loud clicky type, I guess you'll like it =) And hey, once you go Logitechm why switch?

Keyboard. Logitec G-815 are very quiet and have a similar but better feel than your old keyboard.. Also comes on a wireless variety.
