Check the stats on shiv alune and say that again, the shred from her ability is very hit and miss depending on who she casts on

@@TPMaster1 His point kind of still stands. Spark is way worse than morello, and shiv is good because alune and other umbral are amazing for sniping backline. So, spark is even worse because it's not a front to back comp. Spark is obviously still better than no shred (Agreed her ability isn't much), but when weighed against the other options, it's not the move.

All the dummies get umbral shield which is a lot of frontline and it counters snipers since they get stunned and then they target the dummies first

Umbral scales with the number of units on your board. In this spot, it was even better because two people were sniper, and it slows sniper damage by a lot early into the fight. Cuts off like 2-3 hexes of sniper value early.

To add to what the other people said, the value of Martyr is much lower with Umbral because your units have a massive shield that has to be removed before they can heal.

Crash Test dummies get value from Moonstone and Umbral shields. There are also multiple Sniper players in the lobby and having crash test dummies jump to the backline gimps Sniper DPS by like 33% until they can break the dummies that are in their face.
