You’re welcome Seyi. There’s bread here but not the regular bread Ghanaians are used to back home, but it’s manageable. Yam is very scarce due to its high demand. It sells out almost immediately cause people have pre-ordered it in bulk. There’s another store uptown called Freshville that had Ghanaian yam sometime back but they were all spoilt so

Thanks for this, it’s good to know there is home away from home in Saint John. Is this the only African shop there if I may ask?

Hello KAD, so far this is the only African shop in Saint John we’ve discovered. In case we chance upon another, we’ll try to post a tour of the place

Sorry to hear about the limited supply of African products at your end! Is there an opportunity for you to order from the more stocked African stores closer to you? Also Superstore and Walmart at times has some African products like milo, nido etc

The address is 17 Waterloo Street in Saint John New Brunswick In the intro part of this video, we included a snapshot of the store front, but it’s a bit difficult to identify your first time in the area so you can just look for Sense of Tokyo restaurant since the African shop is right beside it
