Their latest projects have had a lot of charm oddly (Frozen in Hong Kong & Zootopia in Shanghia). Especially compared to their Star Wars & Marvel projects. I’m liking their new stuff a lot

This really has the charm of something that came out of the golden age of the Disney Parks. I’m absolutely blown away by the new treehouse! Fantastic job imagineers.

I commend Disney for making an attraction that doesn't rely on IP for it's success. When this closed I was sure it was going to be rethemed to Moana or Encanto or something. Pleasantly surprised Disney let Imagineering use their own storytelling and make something that just feels 'Disney'. Love it!

This is proof that attractions such as these are always a necessity. Everything doesn't need to be extravagant or complicated. It can be as simple, charming, and fun as this. I love it.

No lie, I was actually losing enthusiasm for Disney as the magic seemed to be fading a bit... But this video brought a tear to my eye. They've finally made something that has that level of magic again

THIS is what will bring visitors back to parks…. Especially the Florida parks which are notoriously under kept. Fresh ideas that don’t lean SO HEAVY on (overused) IP. THANK YOU IMAGINEERING😃

So lovely, and the IP references of Swiss Family Robbinson and Tarzan are subtle. This is so much better.

Congrats to the Disney Social Media team for getting out in front of all the DL Influencers that will be lined up on opening day to deliver "exclusive video". They can do what they want, but Disney is more than capable of telling it's own story. Good job!

I agree! Love the new approach Disney is doing. With full access after park hours hopefully will cut down on the massive ‘influencers’ who take over attractions.

Agreed! This is what imagineering is capable of! It seems new construction is completely void of animatronics and water features! This is beautiful!

Not gonna lie, I teared up a little when I heard that new arrangement of Swisskapolka coming from the music room... and I'm not even old enough to remember the original treehouse! Something about it just feels so RIGHT, you know?

A fitting tribute to the original!

This is absolutely WONDERFUL! Thank you for honoring the old "Swiss Family" treehouse like this! Adding the music from the movie is the cherry on top! It's a MILLION times better than the Tarzan concept that left absolutely NO chance for imagination. The new treehouse is exactly what we all wanted since the "Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse" was closed. Well done, Disney!!!

This looks incredible! Love to see a new attraction that is a completely unique idea/story original to the theme parks, like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Country Bears, etc. Great work Imagineering, I hope we can see more like this in the future!

It's like how Pirates of the Caribbean has some inspiration from the scrapped Mickey Mouse movie "Morgan's Ghost", it's inspired by it but it's not a direct adaptation like something like Frozen Ever After or Peter Pan's Flight is.

@@omi_god the original was stripped down completely in 1999 for Tarzan’s treehouse. And then once again in 2021 to create this new version. What I mean is that this has the charm, detail, and care of the early years of Disneyland that we all love so much.

I remember the original Swiss Family Tree House as a kid. I experienced, and was saddened, when I saw the Tarzan Tree House. This, is incredible. What a marvelous improvement!!! Way to go!!! So, beautiful, and full of hidden gems.

I can in all sincerity say that this is WAY better than the Tarzan OR original SFR treehouse ever was. The amount of life they've inserted into the entire thing in such a small footprint is amazing. I was worried when they took the smaller tree and bridge out, that they wouldn't have enough space to do much. Officially Wowed!!

This Tree got an upgrade and it's BETTER than Ever. Come pair with the one back in the 70's and 80's. Every space is used up with nothing left out. Well DONE

Love the tribute to Tarzan’s Treehouse by having a copy of Tarzan included 🥹

I love the subtle nods to what was once there.

Having just experienced this myself, I can say without a doubt this is the best iteration of the Treehouse. Every nook and cranny is filled to the brim with that CLASSIC Disneyland charm of amazing sets, adorable practical effects, and even a couple new animatronics! And the fact that many of the kinetic elements and instruments are layered on top of the Swisskapolka is just the cherry on top; it just puts a big smile on my face and makes everything just feel so ALIVE. It’s pure Disneyland magic at its finest.

Disney this is what the fans want.

It's delightful to see a new Disneyland project that isn't focused on a specific film or characters, just suits its land and is fun. This is spectacular and really unexpected! Please do more of this. Yes, everybody loves films and characters, but too much focus on those doesn't feel quite like Walt's sort. This does. It's also nice to see the organ AND the sheet music with the Swiss-ka-polka.

I absolutely love the addition of all the animals and how fresh it feels. This is so Disney I love it.

The animatronics are impressive, especially the Ostrich! You took the incredibly long time you had and made a fantastic reimagining of the Robinson Treehouse. Well done, Imagineers!

Hearing the Swisspolka back at Disneyland brings back so many memories of the original Swiss Family Treehouse. ❤ It looks so good! And adds more kinetics to the park which is good.

I love seeing the raw imagination of Disney Imagineering translate to physical places. I’m getting tired and burnt out of exact replicas of existing source material and IP. This is such a breath of fresh air of what makes Disneyland so charming. This is the type of stuff that captivated me as a kid.

They brought back the Swisskapolka!!!! ❤❤ I can’t wait to see this in person!

I grew up with the Tarzan tree house but I love this 100x more. It feels like classic Disney. Like 60s, 70s Disney era.

Absolutely love what they have done and in turn honoring such a classic attraction and movie! Imagineers continue to show us at Disneyland that there is creativity when it’s allowed to flourish and not waste away (Magic Kingdom). Hope that Walt Disney World management turns the corner and allow these wonderful Imagineers to update classic rides and renew the Magic Kingdom.

Mother’s room sounds like the Fantasyland overlay! Great vid. I can’t wait to see the Treehouse in person and….hey, wait!…no escalators? I really like how well it was done, as well as the audio animatronics.

Love the lighting and the sounds of the water!! New disney them park construction NEEDS MORE WATER FEATURES!!! It’s like imagineering has forgot all about animatronics AND water features!

I gotta say, the Adventureland Treehouse looks amazing! It uses that classic Disneyland charm from Walt's era in a modern fashion, love it! I was born in 1998, so I never got to experience the Swiss Family Treehouse, but this is the closest I'll get to it I guess. I think Walt would be happy to see one of his ideas return in a new way that honors the past while also making it fresh again. I love all the kinetic energy and motion going on, from the waterwheel to the different marvelous mechanisms throughout, the treehouse really does come alive to me. I also like the return of the Swisskapolka, which is gonna be a big part of the treehouse, and a returning earworm for many. I can't wait to visit the treehouse when I go to Disneyland for my birthday soon!

I'd always longed for the charm of the original Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse and this mended my heart. SFR always inspired ingenuity and science in me. This version exceeds that. This is something that I think Walt himself wishes was his design. Obviously, I haven't been yet but congratulations to the Imagineers who pulled this off. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

This may be my autism speaking, but this tree looks like it’d be a great way to relax and get away from the noise.

Ive not felt this sense of Charm in a theme park attraction for a long time... until i saw this beautifully designed, non IP related, original, and gorgeous looking attraction. Bravo to those who worked on it! This is the only Disney attraction I've seen that feels 'Disney' ever since Expedition Everest. Well done!!

Thank you Disneyland Imagineers! This is amazing. I am so happy this is the theming we got for the Treehouse. The Easter eggs to the previous versions of the Treehouse are great. And I am so surprised it has so many little animatronics!

And this goes on my "must do" list for my next trip.

I genuinely started bawling. I have become so accustomed with Disney doing the bare minimum that I forgot what it felt like to see that old Disney magic. Every single inch tells a story. It gave me that feeling again. This is the best thing WDI has done since Expedition Everest.

Wow! I am so impressed with how this turned out! I was not expecting this to be anything other than a cheap makeover and instead I’m totally blown away. I have not climbed the Treehouse in years and years but I sure will on my next visit. Well done, Imagineers!
