I am an Arsenal fan but have had a soft spot for Everton since the 60's, as a kid, when Alan Ball was one of the world cup heroes and my favourite player. He then joined Arsenal in 1970 and my world was complete. Well done Toffee's you did us a HUGE favour by beating Liverpuddle.

As an Everton fan I have a lot of respect for the older clubs like Arsenal and Aston Villa. It's down to clubs like ours that football is what it is today.

Cheers, I hope Arsenal win the title but you might have to win every game. It was the year after that Bally joined Arsenal. He was still at Everton when Arsenal did the double.

The first match I was allowed to go to without my dad taking me was Everton v Arsenal in 1970 I was ten. I really hope you do it this season if only because of Mikel Arteta, he gave us great service as a player and he's a really decent bloke.
