    TPMS saved me from possibly having a hole in the floor and tearing off the side skirting when I picked up a bolt in a tire. It paid for itself on the very first trip I had it.

    I enjoy all your videos!! Very personable and informative. Thank you!! We just stayed at Patoka site 306 (in the background of your video overlooking the water). One of our favorite places to camp.

    Great video! We have most of these items but the two I think I will add is the AirTag for the bike and gardening knee pad! Loved seeing the campground and surrounding area at the end too! Safe travels! Be sure to reach out to us when you visit Alum Creek! - Mike and Shelley

    Good call on the e-bikes! Both of my Rad e-bikes were secured under the front of my fifth wheel with a cable lock while at a resort in Palm Springs. Woke up Father’s Day morning and saw that they cut the cable and both bikes were gone. I use that same chain as you now. I should add the apple tags. Thanks for the tip on that!

    Gooood video guys with some solid 411!!! The extension cord is a MUST have!!! Saved us a handful of times due to the location of the power pedestal Also, in addition to the TPMS, a laser temperature gun is a good tool to have to detect excess temperatures in the hubs. Obviously, the TPMS can’t detect a bearing going bad. I use to use the back of my hand, but I spent the $28 and got outta the stone age. 👍😃🍻

    We live 45 minutes from Evansville Indiana in Monroe City. We have been to French Lick and West Badon many times but we have not camped at Patoka Lake. We need to add that to our list of places to visit!

    Great video. After 15+ years of RVing I have to agree whole heartedly with your selections. The valterra valve saved us when our black tank valve broke in the open position. It allowed us to get home to repair the valve. We’ve hooked up to 3 bad power outlets, one with reversed polarity and 2 with only 1/2 of 50 amp working.

    I loved your list because you included some items that are novel - they're not on any of the others I've seen, but they are essential, in my opinion. The tension rods, the Club, and the propane heater are great recommendations. Your behind-the-tape measures are genius! Thank you!

    Another great video in the books! I don't RV and I still really enjoy watching these and am kind of fond of the the featured couple! ;) One question I had while watching in terms of security and theft while RV'ing. Is that a large problem in general? Also noticed you didn't mention using any type of Ring security video gadgets, would those be helpful out on the road? Just curious what your experience has told you living it full time. I'm sure Hugo helps as a deterrent. Nothing beats a large dog barking.

    Great questions. Honestly, we have not had any security issues, but we have been at rv parks where bikes, and other outside things were stolen. Most use those little cord type locks and thieves can cut those easily. There was a rash of dually thefts in CA when we first started, hence, the club. lol Honestly, the rv resorts are where we see most issues. They are a target. When we boondock we actually worry less. Bad guys are not going to drive into the deserted high mountains, or desert regions to steel your stuff. lol Too much trouble. You just have to be smart. Keep your stuff locked up. We have a ring camera inside for monitoring Hugo when we arent tehre, but haven't installed anything outside... yet. We may do that eventually. Hugo is VERY protective. He never barks in general, at other dogs or when walking around. He only barks when something isn't right, or he hears something or someone outside the RV. I'd be scared of him! lol

    lol yea. We were on a huge hill. We never go off the patio so it’s not that big of a deal… but getting level in that spot was fun. lol such a peaceful park though

    I’m not an RV’er yet but I’m surprised to hear you mention theft so often. The club for the steering wheel, the bike locks , etc. Is this a general precaution, or are RV’ers big targets?

  • @liketheresnotomorrow

    @liketheresnotomorrow

    Күн бұрын

    Not really. It's just common sense. If you have $1200 ebikes... ya lock those suckers up. When your truck is the only way you can move your home, ya go the little extra, just in case. We have never had anything stolen, but it does happen. Why risk it. I wouldn't let my kids leave their bikes laying outside at our regular house, same rules apply. Don't make it easy for a thief.
