    The converter that you didn’t know what it did is a DC to DC buck converter. Gas motorcycles have a 12 volt electrical system to run all the electronics (turn signals, headlights, blinkers etc). Some electric bikes have this converter to convert the battery voltage (50-67 volts in your case) down to 12 volts so that you can use generic motorcycle electric parts on your bike instead of having to buy specialty ones that work with higher voltages.

    Thank you glad it helps! I’m definitely thinking about it more but once I get a new battery I’ll have to get ride of the wrap and go with the color scheme I want but I like the wrap I want to soon though! I do have a razor mx650 I was going to do a 14kw kit build but might just finish the surron build instead now and trow the old surron parts in the razor

    What do you think about the tusk stand? Pretty stable when jacked up high? Also what did you think after the first ride on the new forks on rough terrain? Were you blown away?

  • @electric_things_

    @electric_things_

    2 ай бұрын

    I’m really liking the tusk stand definitely a good purchase if you work on your bike definitely trust it when it’s jacked all the way up as long as the bike is tied down with 2 mounts! But yea first ride I was definitely impressed felt like a new bike went over rough terrain with ease👌

    Titanium bolts and stock control?

  • @electric_things_

    @electric_things_

    Not sure if I understand your question, but yes it has titanium bolts (lighter and stronger then stock + look cool) and no it’s technically not a stock controller for this bike. it was a 1200watt upgrade compared to my stock Segway controller!
