What made BBM’s speech felt heartfelt was probably due to him writing it himself..hence it just felt and sounded natural. Such an eloquent and intelligent speaker..that is coming from what they call an undergrad and bobo. Today, he showed us, the world, that he is no weakling but rather..a highly intelligent president with a heart. Congratulations are in order..may he achieve everything he wants to achieve..and more.

This speech killed the past hypocrites. Ang lupet talaga, parang sumanib si Marcos Sr.. God bless us all Filipinos who deserve better life and to you Pres BBM!

Not to bash, but he ain't going to be the best. PH government is very corrupt, unorganized, too relaxed and rarely care about the people. If anything, the local town municipalities are the ones that really work for the people. Anything above, it is all going to be business and I bet 10000000% percent, there will be bribes up the wazoo. Nobody ever enters the office just to earn an average salary and adhere to what you are suppose to be as a politician. Higher gov officials will always get bribed and it will be a slow growth. Its been like that since US-Fil-Spanish wars. He wont do squat.

All are business transactions, businesses control and bribe officials that work with the law businesses can conduct business the way they want with no regulations. Business are more profitable than the average local economy of average PH workers. PH workers dont bring much anything to the table when it comes taxes. Businesses do.

I doubt it if any of his former rivals can express the same or even a bit of this speech. I highly commend this first public speech of the new PRESIDENT OF THE PHILIPPINES. Tama po, Undergrad pa yan ha, pero napaka brilliant, itong mga taong nakapagtapos may kodego palagi at yung isa hindi na nakontento sa kodego nag teleprompter pa, pero lahat sila may degree DAW, pero puro walang punto ang pinagsasabi kase hindi sila ang gumagawa ng speech nila.

Watching from New York! Stayed up late last night! I have never been this excited with a president till now! So much confidence that he will deliver and make the Philippines great again! With all 32 million Filipinos supporting him, and of course God's divine intervention, anything is possible! His call for unity should be answered by all Filipinos so that change can be achieved! I was amazed by how the president emphasizes all the parts of his speech without even looking in his kodigo, I can't even help myself but to be nervous centering the crowd or even the whole nation, just ... I was thinking that he will deliver his inaugural speech in Tagalog, I like that it was in English. It was probably because there were so many foreign dignitaries/guests and we Filipinos can understand English anyway. Seems like he's speaking from the heart and have the best plans for our beloved country. I just hope that all govt officials under him think the same. Ruling a country shouldn't be a one-man army kinda thing, it should be a team effort - govt and the citizens work hand in hand and as a unit. Even if our President is the most intelligent person in the world or have the best plans, he can't do it all by himself. I don't expect that he can change everything radically in just 6 years but I'm hoping to see major improvements. It won't be an easy journey for sure but still hoping for the best. I watched BBM speech over and over and cannot get enough of it. So powerful! He nailed his line by line.

Wow!! What a beautiful and meaningful speech from our beloved president. Bravooo. This is my 2nd time watching his speech. I could see his tatay, FEM, the way he delivers every speech. No kodigo. Pati ung mannerisms. I'm sure FEM was smiling big in heaven watching his son in his inauguration. God bless the Phil.🇵🇭 Gid bless bbm.❤️✌️🇵🇭

There is a teleprompter. In fact two. The public cannot see it, but when he turns his head left and right he can read from it.

What an amazing speech! You could feel the sincerity that's why I got so emotional! You could feel that it came from within. It feels like I am listening to the late President Ferdinand Marcos Sr. Mabuhay ka, PBBM! You are always in my thoughts and prayers.
