The first video I've seen yet when the stylist "doesn't" rip and yank your f-in hair out ! Very good video ! Very gentle with the head.
Out of all the tutorials yours is the best. It's up close so u can see where the needle go and you give step by step. You did a really GREAT job. Hope to see more of your tutorials.
The best I've seen so far. Finally someone who actually knows how to teach!! Good visuals & explanation! thank you!!
Thank you !!! I now feel confident in sewing my own sew in and saving $$$$$$ 💰💰💰💰💰👍
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I been looking for a video on how to sew in a weave for years that's up close, goes slowly, and most importantly in good lighting. I always wanted to weave my own hair( to save money) and this video is a big help.
yess..come thru hairtakeover!! we appreciate you!!
Hi u did a great job! Lightening was great. The weaving technique that I learned on so many videos was going under the weft. This is the first time seeing it done this way.
You did a great JOB EXPLAINING!! I had went thru many videos and got frustrated and I found you!! thank you
Love this video now I think I could do a sewin it'll be my first time, you're very informative and I like how u take your time I'll start with the overcast 1 then gradually go 2 the next level, thank you soooo much..
Thank you for clarifying the methods!!
Haha, the outside location thing is poppin. You should do one in the winter time with ugg boots and mittens on while it's snowing. That'll be CRAAAZY!
actually the thread she is using is great thread. the wool thread can cut hair just as easily. the nylon thread is great because when you wash you hair it wont swell up like the wool thread which can cause the sew in to look very bulky. the nylon is very thin and easy to use and lays very flat. i useto use the wool thread at firat but after usonf the nylon thread ive never went back. i also have natural hair and do natural hair also and i made sure that it the mylon thread wouldnt damage the hair anf it hasnt yet. plus if you use a net ypu wouldnt have ro worry about the natural hair. this was a greay tutorial.
❤❤ cool im learning something new. Very informative and clear instructions.
this is the best tutorial i’ve seen and it’s 8 yrs old !!!
Very Informative Thank you! now I know what Stitch Pattern looks the Best
You're Awesome for this! Thank You!
Love 💕💕 the way ur explained ur self mama lol love u
WOW!!! How long do these techniques take to complete?
How do stitch through the braid exactly you stitch the bottom an top an left an right side of each braid or is it something different
i was taught to never put the needle through the weft except at the very end when your starting or finishing...also its time consuming and can take a toll on your hands constantly pushing and forcing the needle through.. AND makes the weft unravel and makes the hair shed.. i never seen anybody do that

do you have full length videos? i am just starting again after 30 yrs...i would like to get better at styling...oh ones that show full sew in with no leave outs...thanks love
EXCELLENT TUTORIAL !!!!!!!!
I absolutely love this :-)
I don't put the needle thru the weft anymore. I just pull it under and around. Is that cool?
Excellent video.
1) u don't sew through a weft u sew under it. Why? It breaks the weft and causes excess shedding it also causes the extensions to stick up as seen in the video 2) the thread being used cuts hair and causes breakage in the natural hair of the person. So if u r not making a wig or sewing on the mesh then its not good for the persons hair. 3) that fold will not work in an entire head bcz the hair will NOT lay flat as seen in the video.

***** is there something u r trying to say???? I don't get it. But let me enlighten u, KZread is public domain, if a person posts a video then they MUST be able to appreciate the comments negative, positive or constructive. So, if your opinion differs from mine, that's your problem, not mine. Deal with it. Kmt

sophia sophie the regular wool sew in thread will do. The silk is very sharp thus it cuts the hair quite easily.

Hello...can I install a full weave with no hair out and bantu knot? Will the top of my hair where the closure is located be flat?
needed this!👏👍
Awesome video
Very helpful thank you
Which one is the best method
Thank you so much for that really hleps
Thank you
what kind of hair did you use??
How many bundles of hair would you need ?
Thank you!
do u know some of the other techniques cause their seven right
This technique/method causes shedding, everytime you stick the needle through the weft it widens the weft which then causes shedding. I do not recommend this method.

Elizabeth Jackson exactly. I do the double lock stitch all the time on my wigs. only time I go through the weft is when I get to the end of the track
thank you so much!
Hairtakeover I just want to thank you. You said if you can do the dbl stitch we can take on the world or something. I never knew it was technique. Somebody just told me to go through the weft ad the braid. It's more than that. I just want to thank you so much.
I like the net with my sew in cause my hair so thin!
Good info. sound good.
Thank you soooooo much now I can attemp to make a wig!!!!

Girl thx!
thank you
uhh ohh i currently attend AAMU and i do hair as well!
I don’t recommend going through the weft for the entire sew in because this will cause shedding. I only go through at the beginning and end of the tracks which works for me. Everybody has their own method which is fine. Good job though and great camera angels. Thanks for sharing.

Can you do a video up close on the sewing showing how to start it off step by step
Why did you sew through the track instead of under it does it last longer if you see it through the track?
@jadaturner6526

Sewing it under helps make it last longer . If you sew through then it will cause shedding
Hey may I ask where you purchase your thread I can't find the nylon thread anywhere

Ooh my God, what an accent I desire to hear all the time.
Give my Cos class a youtube shout out! I showed them your sew-in weave techniques! They said my videos should be more like yours!
Where did you purchase your mannequin head?
that was some easy ways to do...
Did you mention how far apart each stitch is? Where on the braid to place the stitch? How close to the edges?
@verifiedkali13

LOVELYMAMi The stitching should be close together for the security you need. The stitching should go right through the braid! you briad as far up as you put your cornrows. There's many demonstrating videos here on youtube, look some up!
THIS ACCENT IS TURNING ME ON DEAR...
Where did you get you're mannequin head from I really want to start learning how to braid and eventually start doing sew ins

Where are the knots and why is the sew in spaces so big?
@verifiedkali13

Pamela Demonbreun it was just for demonstration! I'm sure if you're doing it on a person, you would use smaller sewing techniques to make sure theres no bumps! I made the mistake of doing wide sewing things like her and When i washed my sew in you could feel some of the wefts!

Kali Dee aw ok cool
, i hate the “ over cast stitch ” * the one where she double weft the hair * .. because it makes my hair look like a wig and it be looking too too full , it makes my hair look fake . ‘ i want a natural look , so when i get finish getting my hair done what i do is i have to tie my hair up tight so my sew in can flatten up so it won’t look big 🤦🏽♀️😪 !

I thought girls really did see hair into they head :/ I hope I was fried thinking that
really i thought you was using a real person
Doesnt hirt on your head
Your not supposed to sew through the wefts it causes shedding.
I'll just use a sewing machine, and sew that shit in, or a stapler:3
Naw this not flat
B om
Even if you're doing a "demonstration" for someone you're trying to teach, why wouldn't you want to do an amazing job as if it were a client? Wouldn't you want the person you're teaching to see the techniques full potential? This looked terrible for it being a "demonstration".
Your nails are not helping
Your not supposed to sew through the wefts it causes shedding.
