And yet even he knew that whatever Bimmer that was behind him was not a stock M2, because it kept honing in on his rear no matter what he did in the Porsche. It’s just a matter of time before those BMW start giving even a 911 Turbo pure hell! 😂

Imran is such a great professional and passionate car enthusiast ! Remains humble. Really appreciate him !

That M2 is so well put together that it doesn’t even look like you’re working it that hard. What an amazing machine!

@@williamsphysicseducation237 He never overtook the yellow Porsche that means it came on track after him. Looking at the rearview camera from the beginning of the lap you never the see the yellow Porsche which means he came on track mid lap and managed to catch up with Misha from that far back. As a result it seems obvious that the yellow Porsche did a better time than Misha on this lap. As for the traffic both cars had to pass the same amount of traffic on the lap so negligeable variable

my man Misha was in the zone such great driving... also im very impressed with the corner speeds of the new m2 considering it weighs quite a lot. those csl upgrades work like a charm. such a great build by Imran and evolve. amazing power with great reliability just look at the temp gauges the car doesn't even break a sweat. this car truly is the m2 csl. just wow...

Impressive, very nice. Now let's see Paul Allen's M2. Seriously though :), looked very capable to me. Car looked a lot more planted through the lower than higher speed corners, so my intuition would be more aero as the next upgrade. Tires were Cups, or the standard PS4S*?

Tires went to 100°C and I guess it is core temperature. Surface temps must have been way above. Did u check the tire surfaces after the laps?

It is more the temperature of the rims heated from the brake discs. The aluminum rim is an excellent radiator receiving temperature from the braking system.

Incredible car! So well set up! And crazy to really see the effect the tire pressure has on the grip. Around Hedwigshöhe to Wippermann on lap one it’s really visible.

I won't say the Porsche made no mistakes, but coming out of a blind turn (Porsche sees him only for a short time in the mirrors), then dive bombing into a corner like that while being uncertain that he saw you is nowhere near smart decision making on the ring. That was totally unnecessary and down right dangerous by Misha

@@naruto6063 How many times do you see Misha glancing at the mirror before turning a corner, even in a slower car? He sure looks frequently, but certainly not for every corner. The car that's overtaking has a bigger responsibility since they can assess a situation much easier through the windscreen, rather than the front car through the mirrors. I love Misha and have been watching his videos for years, but that lunge into a corner like that is not necessary.

Wonderful video seeing eventuri intake makers cars being tracked was something I did not know I needed😅. But I want to also see Misha take the skoda Octavia vrs on track too. As they have a very wide moding community.

Great car and driving

Great car, very fast, but you can really feel the almost 2 tonnes of weight on the front tyres. 100°C is getting a bit much.

I really like new M2, for me looks way better than M4 and its much better value for money.

Crazy thing to me is that BMW managed to make an M2 with S58 slower than a Supra on track..... Because it's so heavy. Maybe the M2 would be faster on tracks where acceleration matters more, but the Supra wins on this one, and F87 M2 is probably equally as quick as G87 here...

And its maybe mostly on filters, cat and all the safety systems you dont really need. The fact that they make the engines smaller in cylinders and liters is very shocking how the cars get so heavy with lighter engines.

very big fan of your videos i would only like to add that if it were possible to add a mini map of where you are while driving through the amazing nurburgring circuit. this way the viewer van really anticiapte the corners with you and it will give it a more lively experience.cheers and god bless. thanks everyone for creating this nice racing content.

I feel like the DCT was just a tad sharper than the 'regular' torque converter in the newest M cars. would love to hear Misha's opinion on that.

I’m a huge fan of the M2. I had an Eventuri intake on my RS6, but their parts are ridiculously expensive.

Ridiculously though! It’s happening across the board to be honest a closed intake set up for vag 2.0 is now around £750/$900 there’s absolutely no need for it to be that expensive. Development is offset by a week of sales and the materials of even the most expensive carbon fibre is only 10-15% of the price. Greed. There’s a reason he’s been able to bring both the new m2 and the m3 touring🙄

One thing I really dislike about BMW’s stock gearbox tuning is that it doesn’t even compare to the DCT they replaced, sounds like a slushbox on downshifts and still isn’t as fast. Would love to see if a tune would get it more in line with a proper sports car transmission
