It’s just for show. Pots filling up, pigs getting fat etc, doesn’t mean anything. Yes it will eventually go off but I’ve had the same bonus go off multiple times before the one that looks like it should. The fat pig keeps getting fatter while the tiny pig goes off.

The size of the piles of gems or the pots or any game that requires you to "pop" something is just there for appearance. It's written in the game rules on the machine. Each spin is an independent event that has the same chance of winning or losing as the previous and subsequent ones. You don't built it up for someone else. And the cash out trick is just a myth.
