Another day, another visual!
The 260 is a long route that is operated by Metroline Travel using Gemini 3 B5LH's from Willesden [AC] Garage. The route goes from White City, Shepherd's Bush, East Acton, Acton, North Acton, Park Royal, Harlesden, Willesden, Cricklewood, Child's Hill and finally Golders Green. The route kinda felt long despite filming it in two parts with two different drivers who weren't as fast - but average. There was generic traffic along the A40 Junction of East Acton, Central Middlesex Hospital and Harlesden Station. The reason why I had to cut the visual at Harlesden Station is because of a personal emergency. So I continued where I left off at another time when the weather was sort of cloudy, but not as sunny as it was in the first half. Now, I had to wait 12 minutes for the next one which I wasn't keen on at all because I missed it by 1 minute and the traffic from behind costed the bus to not come on time as well. In a way, it was kinda good that I cut the visual at Harlesden because every Wednesday's & Saturday's on Church Road, the route - alongside the 266 are on diversion in both directions from 06:00 to 18:00 every Wednesday and Saturday due to the market operating.
The route gets diverted via High Road, missing bus stops Ilex Road, Eric Road, and Roundwood Road. The reason why I stated this is because I filmed this visual on a Wednesday, then I continued it on another day where there was no diversion. I strongly believe that ‪@TransportforLondon‬ need to rename bus stops "Claremont Road" [CM] & [CN] to Cricklewood Station. This is because there is no bus stops that notify people on when to get off at the station which misleads people. So please TFL just like you did with the SL9 from Station Parade to Northolt Park Station, kindly rename those stops. If so, you could even call the stop "Cricklewood Station // Claremont Road". The Central Line at North Acton is poorly served by this route, you have to get off at Gypsy Corner to take the 218 or the 266 to get there. At least this time around, there was no driver change at Willesden Bus Garage as I thought there would be one. I do also plan on filming this the other way around when I get time to. This bus was first newly introduced to Uxbridge [UX] Garage on the 114 from September to November 2017, then it was transferred to Willesden [AC] Garage to replace the VP's there. The route also follows the 460 from Willesden to Golders Green; as this route used to go all the way to North Finchley up until June 2003 - insanely crazy! TFL made the wise decision to cut the route to Golders Green and replace it with a new route "460"; which ideally makes sense; just as they did 83, N83 & 483 in 2016.

260 (2): 12:51PM - 1:33PM - Harlesden to Golders Green [VWH2392 - LK67ELX]
