The Harbinger MLS1000 Personal Line Array gives a musician on the go the perfect balance of compact mobility, Big Sound, and versatile connectivity - including 5 Lines in, Bluetooth® audio, superior tuning, and innovative Smart Stereo™ capability. Small enough to carry along with a guitar and gear bag, its sound is big enough to fill the whole venue.
Superior Tuning
Larger column speakers have a superior tuning for warm, solid mids and articulate, detailed highs, while the sub kicks out bigger bass than similar line arrays. Wide room coverage extends 150 degrees to reach your entire audience. From intimate vocals to full-bodied guitars to bass-pounding electronics, this system delivers.
Easy to Carry
You get this big speaker sound and versatile capability at the same time as small system mobility. The base is a comfortable one-hand carry (Only 33 pounds), and columns travel hands-free in an included across-the-body shoulder bag. So your other hand is free your guitar, keyboard or gear bag when you’re loading in for gigs.
Smart Stereo
For even bigger sound, get a pair of ML1000s and enjoy Smart Stereo routing, with easy volume and tone control for the whole rig from the master unit. Connect all your inputs to the first unit, and it smartly routes left and right to the separate speakers, while putting mono signals right in the center of your mix. Do all the volume and tone control from the first unit, for the full-wide stereo rig.
Rugged Roadworthy Design
Columns mount with an exclusive spring-loaded ball-bearing mechanism that easily slides, and positively clicks into place. Column fronts are steel instead of plastic, and the base cabinet protects knobs and connections in recessed areas. A padded shoulder bag protects columns while making them easy to carry over the shoulder.
Wide, Full Room Coverage
The custom column speakers are arranged to create 2 outward-angled arcs of sound, directing balanced and consistent audio throughout a venue. This arrangement also lets the speaker simultaneously serve as both the house sound system, and the performer’s on-stage monitor. So you don’t have to bring extra speakers to ensure you and your audience both hear clearly.
Features
Smart Stereo for stereo playback when two units are wired together
1000W peak output; ultra-wide dispersion pattern
10" woofer and an array of six 2.75" drivers in the column section
4 independent channels and up to 8 simultaneous inputs
Bluetooth connectivity

I bought before seeing this but all you have said is spot on. Big Harbinger fan for years. I use 2312's, 2315's and 4115's for my larger venues but the MLS1000 is perfect for wineries, coffee shops and smaller pubs. And for the price...no brainer!!

  • @dannyhand8379

@Riley Keller Both sound great. Set up for your venue would determine which. Around 50 seated listeners, an MLS 1000 perfect. 50 to 100, I would use a pair of them. When you have a more active audience, I would stand a couple of 2312's or 2315's. If you are just starting out, there is no better way to go than the 2312's. Sound quality, price, and ease of setup cannot be beaten. Good luck.

    > Another excellent review -- thank you, Robin from Expert Island. • You provide amazing expertise every time with product analysis, set up, and use. Your obviously high intelligence, expert insights, associated considerations, and helpful tips are all the best on the Internet worldwide. > One example of excellence here in this presentation starts at the 11-minute mark with your discussion of the product technical manual. Always a great idea, right. > You stated, "The first important thing to know is, read the manual." Exactly -- in addition to being a professional broadcast announcer, DJ, and MC, all of which I got into on the side later in life -- I've been a Technical Writer and Training Instructor since the 1970s. We have a saying in the industry, RTFM, read the " flippin'' " manual, although most people will rarely do so. To have you state RTM had me both agreeing and laughing out loud. • Thanks again, Robin. Your information was very helpful. I am excited to own another ms1000. My home sounds like a night club . I save lots of money buying separate audio components for home use. It has a smooth sound and bass integrates well with the array. I can enjoy loud music again. I stream music from KZread. I brought home the night club sound. It sounds great at high volume as well low listening levels. I am not disappointed but very happy.

After connecting my Shure 98 mic the volume knob did not produce sound until it was turned up approximately 60 percent than at 70 percent sound came blasting out. Returned and tried another with same result. Then tried store model same result. Strange because my mls 800 works beautifully. As soon as you start to turn the volume knob it produces sound and slowly increases to max. Hope the mls 1000 has fixed this major problem. Price point is great if the unit functions properly. How does it compare to the Evolve 30M? I've listened to the MLS 900 in store as well as both Evolves and the Avante or whatever the American DJ one is called. I personally felt the Evolve 50 and 30 were the best, but they were double the price or more of the others. I'm kind of afraid to not buy the Evolve, but I'm also afraid to buy them. Maybe I should wait a while and see what else comes around.

I had the mls900...just bought the L1 pro 8...definitely an upgrade in quality and volume. The app allows you to save "scenes" so you can have it pre set for different venues. Only downside I see so far is no master volume. First gig with it tonight so we'll see how it goes
