Not talked about enough is Partey dominating at CDM today. He's been out for a long time and he needs to get into a rhythm for game speed, but when he's flowing he's one of the best in that position in the world. Partey being healthy and playing his best again is underrated and huge for the final stretch of the season.

Chelsea is in such a funny situation. I think it was during the United game I saw Disasi celebrating after each tackle. Obviously trying to appear all passionate and stuff. Except there were two problems. First one, he continues doing this after Chelsea has just thrown away a 2 goal lead. 2nd, in one scenario, he gave the ball away in a dangerous situation and was forced into a last ditch tackle, conceding a corner kick. Instead of holding his hand up and apologising to his teammates, i saw him celebrate again. And before you say it's age related, he is 26. He should be more level-headed, but he is acting like some inexperienced teenager. I think Chelsea will be used as a future case study with regards to the merits of a complete tear down and rebuild based on very young, inexperienced, and expensive players. The assumption is they will eventually be good but player development in football is rarely ever that linear. There are so many hurdles to overcome. So many things you can't predict and quantify like how players can overcome injuries or lack of confidence or even personal issues.

@readmore7180 yes but there are some very key differences. Biggest one is Arteta was part of that process from the start. Whereas Chelsea are already on their 4th manager in two seasons. That Arsenal team whilst young had quite a bit of experience and didn't cost a billion. Plus every position on the pitch either had a starter or backup who wasn't necessarily a kid. Guys like Xhaka, Jesus, Zinchenko, Partey and later on Jorginho and Trossard.

Correct observation, Arsenal with Partey at the peak of his powers is a formidable team, Partey not only shields the back four but his creativity from deep is on another level, had Partey been fit even for half of the season we would not be having a conversation as to who is going to win the league as it would already be safely in the bag for the artillery guys, that's how much Arsenal has missed Partey, Arsenal has done very well with their most dominant midfielder out for almost the whole season , they deserve a pat on the back.

@grsmustard9139 Havertz is a baller. And Craig is stuck in the 90’s. Havertz doesn’t need to be “the man” as the 9 for Arsenal. Because they have so many attacking players that interchange and score goals. Havertz is as much a facilitator as a goal scorer with this team. And he fits in very well. Craig still has a very outdated version of what a 9 is and his actual punditry is lazy and relies on cliches again and again and again.

If you zoom out he always puts in a shift, he makes that 7 out of 10 every game overall, and he has managed to put up sufficient goals and assists to justify keeping his spot. he looks ungainly sometimes but he is very coachable, very capable and if it weren't for these aesthetic issues that bother observers he would be more fairly considered one of the top attackers in the league

Mudryk and Enzo Fernandez are a shell of themselves. Kai Havertz looks far better than he ever was in Chelsea. Arsenal buys players that makes other players harder to get starts and can rotate injured players to avoid long term injury. Partey can't get starts due to Jourginho and Rice. Havertz makes starts difficult for Nketiah, Jesus and Martinelli. Smith Rove and Viera can't get starts. Not to mention Kiwior with Timber coming back from injury.

There seems to be a complete loss of confidence in the Chelsea players. I think Poch has to pull them together and collectively come to the agreement that things are not good. You START with that, to instil the sense of togetherness again, a team, rather than lost individuals. No one single player is at fault. That is step 1. Then, you remove any pressure from them by saying the season is basically over and expectations for remaining games will be low. Then, you appeal to their sense of professionalism, trying to get them to want to put some added physical effort into the remaining matches, without over-doing it (i.e. track back, deny the opposition time and space as much as possible). Then after the matches, brief them, highlighting the positives. Keep stressing the sense of TEAM. I'm not a Chelsea fan but those players need this kind of thing now, not after the season is over. Otherwise, it will haunt them all summer long.

I play Fantasy Premier League from the start of the season and had to pick Chelsea players for their good set of opening fixtures. So I pick Nico J along side Haaland and Watkins since from what I've seen in Villarreal, he's quite decent. Thought he'll score some goals for sure. After a long time he's in my FPL team, it became evident that this Nico J is clueless in front of goal for most of the time and this match was just another testament to his disability.

Need to take a leaf out of Cole Palmer's book and spend less time at the hairdressers and more time at the training ground. Predictable result and players need to take responsibility, less so the manager.

As a city fan im glad for arsenal this is a Chelsea team that went all out to beat man city in the fa cup semi lost got jealous and throwing away points to arsenal to try and stop city from winning the league just embarrassing no wonder y pep runs a tight ship with them this season cant win a game

Craig clearly doesn’t watch chelsea or jackson. His link up play is actually excellent. He links up with palmer very well. Jackson gets too much slack. His finishing needs improving for sure. But there is a good player in there

@kilianch71 Jackson is a winger, not a forward. Something pundits are either very conventionally overlooking or do not actually know. He only started playing as a striker last season.

Imagine blaming a manager that got spurs to a UCL final, SPURS, to a UCL final, when he has a squad who fight over penalties and don't pass it to each other! Even Pep couldn't coach those frauds to a win!

Jackson deserves a better ranking, for sheer effort alone and giving Chelsea an outball, which I thought he did well especially in that first half. You can’t say he didn’t put the effort in, so if you’re giving Gallagher and Gilchrist who got roasted repeatedly a 4, then Jackson also deserves 4, regardless of his glaring misses

Espn giving a pass for pochettino for disaster of a season inspite of spending 1 billion. Where as the entire yesterday segment was for bashing ten hag inspite of reaching fa cup final and finishing higher. Double standards by these so called pundits.

Pochettino is either giving excuse or throwing the players under the bus. Just listen to him: 'Soft' Chelsea 'gave up' in Arsenal loss. All comes to the fact that he doesn't have the hunger of winning cups. If he had won trophies, I bet you he would have demanded high standard and clear way of playing, which after ten months never exist. He has s not the right manager for Chelsea for sure.

some coaches make silly mistakes. Arteta should have let go bayern match and won penultimate match against aston villa. It was a match arsenal needed more than bayern match to brighten up its chances of winning current Premiership. as an arsenal fan, i knew it woukd be difficult to defeat bayern at home.
