Fyi, if all your characters died then you will respawn right at the pedestal with full hp. So no need teleports whatsoever

If one of your important characters dies you can give up on the battle (not sure what the controls are for kbm or mobile but on controllers it’s pushing both sticks in). This will spawn you right by the hologram and if you start it up again it’ll heal all your characters to full

took me a whole 2 hours to complete solo with jiyan. Before this hologram boss , the thought of just being bad at the game just didn't ever cross my mind. Dude teleports , has crazy distance closing attacks , and a crazy amount of HP ??? Just insane. Amazing Guide as always.

Thank you very much! Congratulations on your Jiyan solo! That's still a big feat, because you lose access to the intro/outros for faster breaks. Definitely not an easy task regardless of how built, just due to how easy it is to get knocked out within seconds against Mephis.

@@AznvasionsII Jiyan's best weapon is his crazy amount of multihits. just pure parrying comfort when using skill and RL. Tbh , i didn't expect you to cover wuthering waves , came as a surprise , miss the eidolon hunting days tbh. Based just on the content on your warframe channel , i would say this is going to be THE best source of wuthering waves content ever , in terms of combat mechanics , guides , builds and more.

Thanks for the guide man, his move looks similar. Sometimes I parry a way too early because of that and died so many times. But this is fun ahahaha. Now I understand why darksouls game is played by everyone, learning bosses pattern is fun

This guide really helps me out. Currently UL36 and using Rover/Sanhua/Verina to fight IV Mephis. I died so many times when I was close because of the stupid clone. I didn't even know that you have to parry the real Mephis once to delete the clone, and I really needed that info. I was going crazy brute forcing the fights.

I didn't know Jiyan could be even more sexy before seeing him parry every attack thrown at him 😳 on a serious note, I'm watching your guides and thank you, it's very detailed and helpful. I hope your channel grows a lot, you deserves it

This is the only hologram bosses i have yet to clear at lvl 4. Thx for the guide man! This boss is so fvckin annoying.

when it flies up to do it's charged plunge, I just watch the feet. It moves just about when he is to plunge. Judgment cut, I just look at the hands when his hands are at it's highest point, when it stops rising he's gonna drop it. Parrying the clone will lock you in place, although the clone disappears, you're gonna be left vulnerable to the original mephis and you can't do anything about it. It's much more preferable to dodge when they attack in tandem, if you accidentally parry the clone you end up locked in place finishing the parry animation while the original mephis will still be attacking you in real-time and you're vulnerable during that time.

If the restart choice...actually restarted the fight. Instead of putting us in a load screen, spawning us away from pedestal...having to run to pedestal, select the correct difficulty and start fight again. Sigh.

Great video! I will practice it. Just a question, what do I do after parrying the clone? My character got stuck in parry animation and cannot move or dodge, and then the original kills me. Is it a bug? Or its intended as you parried the copy?

I am unsure exactly, as normally when you parry and the enemy is still alive, it should just slowmo. To fix this, I usually just swap off if it happens. This is also the reason why I normally don’t recommend parrying the clone unless it’s necessary or opens up a dps window on the original.

It does not, unless like 500+ ping. FPS stability matters a lot more for parries though.

i usually play on high ping, 300ms - 400ms not a problem for parrying...

You can attack it when it teleports.

This is hard

4:31 the parry window is so freaking small for this attack I swear. A couple of milliseconds sooner or later and you will miss the parry..

A lot of these become muscle memory. You just learn how it works, then your hand does it by itself over time. I don’t analyze each move anymore. I just know the counter from fighting him hundreds of times.

i have 0 idea whenever i accidentally parry memphis clone, my character always can't move, attack, or even switching another character, is this a freakin bug or smth ?

i still can't dodge judgment cut.....i wonder if u can really dodge it, coz thats the only move i cant dodge againt him

Wouldn't it be better to do dodge counter instead pf parrying since it does a percent dmg of the enemies health

That is only true in overworld against enemies that are not bosses. This does not work against any kind of boss, or anything in Hologram, Tower, or Roguelite.

How do you lock on to an enemy. When I press middle mouse button nothing happens

Tapping it should work. Holding it for a full second should clear it. Tapping it again when already active, cycles between targets. Lock on usually prioritizes what’s closest to center screen on initial lock on. Day 1 it wasn’t working for me, so I’m not sure if it’s bugged on your side.

Mourning Aix does actually have a rather complex looking moveset, especially because the Tower version uses the Hologram moveset instead, albeit less aggressive. So it will have many moves people have never seen before.

Definitely, this fight is understandably quite pain for a lot of people. I saw enough of the opinions when people were fighting it in CBT2 XD

I dont understand content like this, after Genshin where everyone have a rest even in high end content it is too hard. I have this connection issues with ping on my Iphone, so it is impossible to do that with this issues. Also I need to learn 12 types of his attack training the whole week just to have a luck finish it after 100+ trys? 😂 This is insane way to waste a time. I mean even in Genshin or Honkai if you can not finish highest floors of high end content it is not marked on your map, no any reminds that you are loser and can not swing your fingers like a profi… It is not about fun….

Welcome to Kuro's game , where it's all about skill issue and not whale=wins. This part of end game imo is for the perfectionists so casual players shouldn't care much about it. Plus the drops are mostly for cosmetic shop.

Most of this stuff is entirely optional and gives only minor, if even any notable, rewards. It's basically a place for people who want to mald to go and spend time in their corner sweating it out without having to bother anyone else. The game is actually ping-independent for 99% of combat. Where ping does matter is a full on disconnect, or 500+ ping which will cause issues with registering enemies being alive or dead. FPS stability is a much bigger factor in determining dodge and parry consistency. That's actually the one big thing over Genshin, is that all combat in Genshin is server-sided, whereas almost all of it is client-sided in Wuthering Waves. Because the Hologram fights are not tied to any important progression, it allows players that do not want to engage with it to completely avoid it with basically 0 repercussions.
