This is the best review that I have watched to date on the Blue Driver. :-)

I've had this for a few years now and love it!! I even use it at work for fast diag for basic issues. I mean no bi-directional control does limit it but for the price and it even lets you see all the PIDs you can't beat it!!

Help! I can't find any instruction about when to plug the BlueDriver in for a live scan. Do I plug it in before turning on the ignition, after the ignition but before starting the engine, or after starting the engine?

I own one as well and had to call customer support on one occasion and man they were good. They answered the phone right away and got me the answer I wanted promptly. It was a pleasant surprise to have to contact this manufacture. In addition, the scan tool is absolutely great for its price, I can’t tell you how much it’ll save you in the long run to go to a mechanic with the code that is causing the issue so you don’t get overcharged for unnecessary work at a dealership or any mechanic I hats off to them 5 stars

I cannot begin to state how much this thing is worth it's money. It will pay for itself hundreds of times over by giving you the owner, proper information on what's wrong with your car BEFORE you take it to the shop. If you're one of those folks who see's the light come on and drives to the dealership or mechanic, you are almost always getting raked over the coals because they can tell you whatever the hell they want is wrong with your car and you'll pay for it. This way, you know what's wrong and what needs fixing and sometimes you can even do it yourself and save TONS.

Love the BlueDriver! The app (and hence, the device) has only gotten better with time. (And yes, VIN scanning with the camera has been added to Android since this video was published.)

Joel! I think more people need to advertise this product! This does ALOT Of work for 100$ and really portable and fast to use! I showed a person , who bought it and said it replaced his scanner tool that he spent a lot of money on , I was thinkin it would be good to have a bunch of people advertise this product and how much it does!

I have been using my Blue Driver for a couple years now. It's awesome! The only thing I hate is it's easy to forget in the car. I ended up making a cool tassel out of wire that is about a foot long so it hangs down by your feet so easier to remember.

It shuts down when not in use so it won't drain your battery. Just get an extension odb2 cable and hide it.

Does this give you vehicle specific parameters for live data like if the typical voltage/ohm range a temp sensor should be reading?

I have a 99 CL500 and other Benzes, will it work on them? As I’m sure you already know, the older W140s use the 38pin connectors, could I still use the OBD port or do I need the OBD to 38pin adapter..?

+Warren Higaki at this point I don't think it does. It monitors more PCM inputs but will read transmission codes.

Will this work on a 2004 2500hd duramax

I bought mine back in December 2016. Indo have one question. I do not get the secondary menu asking me if I want to check all modules dashlights or check engine lights.

Can you configure and store "dashboards" like you can with Torque? It's nice to have one "dashboard" for driving, another couple for emission testing, another for... Then all you need to do is swipe between them.

I’m assuming it doesn’t do a health report? Mainly what we check for are codes from a vehicle being wrecked upon entering the shop to show insurance companies n such I have a higher end scanner I use.

I bought one a couple of days ago. My truck has a mystery code p0172 system too lean. There's are no vacuum leaks and the MAF has been replaced 3 times. So I bought this just to see what switches aren't working.

Is the scanner works with BMW X5 2008 ? Also can clear codes for that model ? Thanks

I have had the blue drive for over 3 years now it is the most awesome tool it can distroy other products that I've seen that cost 3 to 10 times more. If you need a code reader this is the best economical choice for someone on a budget but still requires the best technology.

Yes it does i own one it clears. Srs,Abs,Vsa,Ecm,check engine ,trans codes ,air bag and ect its very good

This will not ease codes.

May be a dumb question but I'll ask anyway. I have a 2003 Honda Accord and need to replace the MICU. The ICARSCAN x431 will reprogram the code for the new MICU but is twice the cost of this. Do you know if the Bluedriver will do the same? Thanks.

If you have any type of GM cars, you definitely need this. You will be scanning your car every month and fix it.

Hahaha... you unplug the AT sensor and plug back in. Fix the issue. That is funny,i like that. I wish sensor/electrical diagnose is that easy.
