i got my first sigil in the "Cache of chaos" and unlocked crafting sigils after i did a tier3 nightmare dungeon. I wish this was explained in some way in the game. Hope this comment helps others!

A quick tip regarding damage type in the dungeons' affixes. Always carry two of the Royal Gems for each resistance and slot the appropriate ones into two of your jewelry items. It will give you at least 70% resistance in any category without using any potions. Swapping GEMS is free at the jewelers.

​@@chrisflanc2885 If you hover over the the sigil you intend to use with your cursor, the affixes will tell you what damage type the dungeon MOBs will hit you with: poison, fire, lightning, shadow etc.

Agree with this - it can become tedious

Something to add to "unlocking" sigil crafting requires the completion of a level 5 sigil. Then you get a quest for it.

Kinda feel like they should remove the limit on xp bonuses. Maybe at least let it go to like 10 above or 15. If you are capable of killing creatures 10-20 levels above you you should be allowed to do so and be rewarded for it. You are essentially being punished for doing harder content.

Can we still get lower Tier Sigils at high levels and run dungeons below our own level? This would be a way to bypass the enforced level scaling that some people complain about (whether its gonna be worth it or not is another question).

Do glyphs get consumed and you have to relevel them if you need to change their spot or remove them?

Rob says that xp from being below monster level doesn't have a cap and progress linearly, so which is it?

I think the max is 220. 200 from leveling to 100 and the other 20 from renown rewards.

I have a question.. In most videos i see the player just rush across the screen/rooms.. while killing mobs... i have no chance to see what, if any, loot dropped along the way, since there are so many effects on the screen... how does looting work? Do you automatically loot gold? Do you have to wander back and manually loot?

Yes gold is automatically picked up, and important drops will have a pillar of light and distinctive sound so they're easier to spot. Not much need to grab all the common or magic items, just focus on legendaries and uniques when in late game I think.

Tier 3 dungeon completion is required to unlock sigil crafting.

so im supposed to do them +3 lvl higher than me ? how much more exp is it for like +10 lvls ? and how does it work with loot ? same loot ?

Sell when you want gold, salvage when you want materials. I found you get more than enough gold from just running around but selling gives you a lot if you need it

Gear sells for a good amount so salvage unless you need some gold. I keep a mil for operating cost and you can blow through that really quick doing enchants and imprinting and ripping aspect off items.

Why am I unable to craft/scrap sigils? I have completed the nightmare dungeon, leveled up two Glyphs but I keep running only level 1-2 sigils on Lvl 57. Please assist.

Can I only find nightmare sigils of dungeons I already cleared in normal mode? I feel like my drops and created sigils are always for the same few dungeons.

yeah buddy.. I don't understand it still. So I went to tier 4 (hell) mode at level 62.. Never did a nightmare dungeon but have a bunch of the sigils for them.. Do I go BACk to nightmare and do them? that is better than clearing tier 4 dungeons, helltides and tree quests?

I've done like 4 and gotten no drops for other sigil, I'm out now and can't craft any. When I first started I was full and they dropped like crazy, seems they nerfed it?

My sigil vendor didnt unlock after first nightmare dungeon clear, what do i need to do now?

@@flysodasd1885 Yes, i had to complete nightmare dungeon level 3 and after that new quest appears above enchanter npc in town unlocking sigil creation and salvage

👉🏻 PSA: If Sigils isn’t unlocking for you, then try and get anyone to open a Tier 3 Sigil (maybe higher works too) on Nightmare Difficulty, then the occult quest should pop once complete.

it's cool an all that you can craft higher tier sigils, but I didn't hear anything about unlocking it? I've done plenty of tier 1 and 2, but the option to craft is greyed out

is there a level restriction before you can find a lvl 20 sigil? I have done so many 19 dungeons and still cannot find one.. Is it because I am level 60?

The lvl 100 barb claimed that he preferred to be 10 levels under but im guessing that was because he wanted to level up glyphs faster as well.

He also was destroying everything because he was so powerful, so those 10 tiers were easier to overcome for him as Barb, than it would be for Wudi with Rogue.

Yeah, but barbarian is far ahead of rogue in endgame. So you can afford to push higher keys without losing efficiency.

I heard something similar in game, someone said that its pointless to push more than 5 levels above your own since you wont get that much more experience but it takes longer to finish them.

I have more than half a tab’s worth of sigils but they’re all tier 1. Am I just profoundly unlucky or am I missing a step?

Once you hit lv 50 all the items stop scaling? if is not the case, we should try to grind for lv100 before the altars to be able to get all the end game items lv 100 right?

The power level of items tend to drop at your character levels power. So a unique drop at lvl 60 will tend to be for level 60ish characters. You wont be finding level 100 items at a lower level.

I don’t skip around the screen like you. I clear 1 pack at a time. The point of twisting blades is to use running to kill. If my play style is jump into a pack, and not out of a pack, would flurry be a better build for me?

I would consider reassess your play style as you are loosing a ton of time. Unless you're having fun. Then ignore literally everyone and everything and keep killing it.

You say you can craft Sigils using Sigil Powder, which comes from Nightmare Dungeons, which means you already used a Sigil to access that dungeon. Where did that first Sigil come from?

Definitely. It doesn't take that much longer and you'll build renown as well in the process if are blasting dungeons you haven't cleared before.

Bruh. I've been clearing dungeons about 10-11 levels more than me thinking that I was getting more XP. Appearently I was just losing a ton of time.

Eyebrows got me F'd. They definitely don't agree with eachother. One says "You can do this!". Other one says "Good luck, your gonna need it!"

I'm 55 on Nightmare and can't craft sigils. Am I missing something? How am I supposed to to a nightmare dungeon when I can't make a sigil?

So im having the issue of getting a tier 3 for crafting. I did the cache for the tree to get the tier 1, then I completed it and got a tier 2, I did the tier 2 but it only dropped another tier 2. Im now around 30 tier 2 clears and 6 whisper caches. Im level 60 in WT3 and ive done all of the seasonal quests as well. Am I missing something, is my game bugged, or am I just abysmally unlucky

So just saw a video of you getting rolled by Rob on his Barb in the pvp zone. Any chance there will be a pvp addition to your builds for characters ? Otherwise i see alot of ppl probably rolling thorn/bleed or Bleed/WW barb just to sit in the pvp zone more so since you can have your team of 4 in pvp zone as well

Do i have to activate the sigil in the dungeon or outside of it?

You can run with groups, only 1 person needs the sigil.

character lvl -50 to get what tier to run helps alot ty.

Maybe you should focus on how to UNLOCK sigils at the vendor

is it possible to downgrade sigil tier?

I still don’t get what the point is to play all this after the story. All monsters get about the same level as the players have right? Will these Dungeons make you stronger? What for tho? Side quests?

In hardcore, if you die in a Nightmare dungeon is the character dead? Or are the 4* revives applicable?

Youre dead. Revives don't matter. That being said, Hardcore is so abusable right now. It's almost kind of pointless to play it tbh..

I just got to lvl 51 and I’m already tired of doing dungeons lmao. I can’t even bother doing the dungeons to get the aspects I need for my gear.. I’d much rather do activities above the ground lol

T4 doesn't *require* any specific level. While dependent on your gear and build, you will probably have an easy time clearing the capstone dungeon to unlock T4 at level 64. Be aware that the lowest nightmare dungeon tier for T4 difficulty is level 75. If you have a weak build or class, you might need to farm your ancestral gear elsewhere (e.g. helltides or normal dungeons) before diving into nightmare dungeons.

@@rcd992 i wouldnt want it to be so easy to do, more like risk/reward when crafting. use this essence for a chance to grant this 1 really good positive affix, if it fails, you roll 5 negative affixes instead of 1 good/4 negative. something like that

I've done 2 nm dungeons so far a tier 1 And 2. Got 4 and 8 xp so should scale buy 4 not 2, unless it goes down later.

XP do scale later aswell, so always do the highest tier that's still comfortable and fun to play.

You should get a sigil from the tree Missions. In your inventory with your potions you can activate it and somewhere on the map a new icon will appear, that's the dungeon. You run to it, complete it and that should be the quest if I remember correctly.
